We stopped here to eat on Sunday (labor day weekend) to have a quick lunch. There were only 4 other parties being waited on. We waited 20 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered salads and a grilled cheese. And after waiting an additional 30 minutes, the waitress asked how we were doing and would get us more to drink. We waited another 10 minutes, no food, no drinks. We left after the one hour was up! Cant say if the food was good- we never got any! Be prepared to stay awhile if you want to try this place.

Had an old high school buddy and his wife, now from Nevada, go down the river. They were starving afterwards, of course. I brought them to the CC for dinner. They loved it!!! The food was great, the server was friendly and very attentive. Bringing them there was also a reminder to me of how really good food was such a short drive from my home. I will always bring visiting friends to this place. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Go there every Saturday morning and occasionally during the week. Have been doing this for over 14 years. Place has been there for a long time...hence the "rustic " look. Food is good. Have never seen dirty dishes or silverware. Bad reviews must be from clueless people that have never really been here.

Service not great tonight. Waited a long time for food, and it was not brought out with other food. Almost 15 min apart from other orders and the drinks never filled without flagging someone down, which was hard to do. Food is okay. Prices okay.

This place is fun because you can get a great meal at the restaurant, even with family, or do drinks and dancing on the bar side. The customer service is pretty good, but the shaded outdoor seating, filled with plants makes it special.

Went through multiple dishes before getting plates and cups that werent obviously dirty. "Homemade" chicken fried steak was lukewarm with what seemed to be a can of room temperature condensed mushroom soup dumped on top.

I very much like this place, crew is friendly and attentive. I work in Garden Valley and this is always my first choice for lunch or even munch... "The Gorge" is my favorite burger. Fish fillet is a must try tho.

Good food. Waitress was really kind. Interesting place with a bar on one side and restaurant on the other with a large patio out back. It was near the spot our group camped at and I definitely recommend it.

Fantastic place for breakfast...just dont look to closely at the plates/silverware last time i was in there i got a glass full of ants and sprite. If you can look past the dirty, its great.
