I want to Preface this by saying I am LONG time pizza aficionado. Being born in L.A. and have lived on the east coast, I know me some good pie when bite into a slice. In Sacramento, I have only found about 3 decent places for a good NY style pizza, without all of the hype and fancy stuff. Pizza Amore is a pleasant surprise! Tucked away behind a 7-11 and AutoZone off of Sunrise Blvd. and Locher Way, you would never expect to get a fresh, (real dough and cheese) tasty and inexpensive NY style pizza from a neighborhood joint. My wife says this the best Hawaiian Pizza she has ever had. It appears that most of the owners business is carry out, but occasionally, I do some patrons partake in fresh pizza and pasta while I cruise in to pick up a couple of pizzas for me and the family. Speak of the owner, he is very nice, pleasant and actually happy to see his customers. He is always friendly and recommends cheaper deals when I place orders to save me money. Now how many places do that anymore? The hot wings were OK, nothing to write home about but still good to eat. I would focus on the pizza and pasta menu myself and order about 15 minutes ahead of time before you head in to pick up your order. So as far as bang for your buck? You cant go wrong with this place.

Dont let the price make you think this place has cheap ingredients... Their quality is good. Their crust is absolutely delicious. Its probably my favorite pizza crust around town. Im so glad I live near these guys, so I can keep coming back. My kids go nuts over their pizza.

I ordered the spicy chicken bbq pizza it was good but the pizza was a bit greesy. Its cheaper than ciros or roundtable 19 bucks vs 28 at those other places for a specialty pizza.Staff was very friendly. All in all its a good place to eat.

I got a veggie chicken personal size pizza. It was so so good. Crust was flaky and crunchy on the outside and soft and warm on the inside. This is one of the best pizzas Ive ever had. Plus the owner is a really nice guy! Give it a try!

Great affordable pizza. I love not having to bring coupons to get a good deal. Pepperoni was awesome. Wife had a fresh salad that was really good. Neighborhood is a bit sketchy but worth it if in area.

Pizza is delicious and priced right. Wings....not fresh spaghetti sauce not great. Lasagna is wonderful..... Use fresh chicken on those wings and they will be good.
