Ordered the Chicago half dog for about 5-6$. The actual dog itself was firm and juicy. It didnt have that usual salty weird chemical taste, this was the real deal. I really like the idea of the whole "farm to bun" movement they got over here. You can definitely taste it. It paired well with the tomatoes and pickled veggies. Not a huge fan of the "neon" green relish but the taste of the actual dog itself made up for it. Definitely coming back, hopefully get an actual beer with it this time. The local brews that they have are enticing. I believe some of the brews came from Loomis.

Well built idea, with amazing bar style food; the hot dogs are amazing reminds me of being at a ball game, good beer selection, the Staff Member Holly was extremely pleasant and a real rock star, she asked me if I wanted to try another beer before I even had a chance to ask for it!

Im giving 5 stars . I really like the whole idea . Im from the neighborhood and was anticipating this place while in construction. My only complaints would be. A few more choices on the beer menu and a little air conditioning. So thumbs up for some good dogs and brew. :)

Great food and wonderful staff! With 10 rotating beer handles they keep up with the tastes of many! From Pilsner, through a variety of IPAs and even a Vanilla Porter during my visit. Excellent choice and a must try for a beer and dog! Welcome to the neighborhood!

Ordered half of the chilli dog with tater tots. chilli dog was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. The tater tots however were obviously freshly made and tasted great. Good beer for a good price too, service was good too

I didnt know what to expect, but I can honestly say, that Beer Dogs is my new favorite spot in Citrus Heights. Excellent customer service, excellent food, and an excellent selection of beer. Definitely will be coming back.

Very good, my boyfriend craves their hot dogs. I love the pretzels and beer cheese, I just wish I could get more, or a bigger pretzel. And if they offered ciders, than Id be even happier. Hint, hint, wink, wink...

I like this place. Food is outstanding. Fried avocado was new, but now I find myself ordering it every time. Now they just need fried pickles!!! Cmon guys!

Seems a bit pricey for a hot dog but the decor is cute and the food is good. The mini corn dogs and pretzels are worth a try. Staff is extremely friendly.
