So ya I placed an order for 2 burgers, a tri-tip sandwich, and a cobb salad. There was some issue with scheduling at the place and an employee i left an hour early and chaos ensued. I overheard all of this whilst waiting 6 minutes for my order which was not ready at the time they said. The girl prepped my order looked me dead in the eye and told me my salad was at the bottom of the bag. I returned to work with the food and all of my coworkers were immediately confused because there was no labeling on anything

The only reason for four stars and not five is because this location is way too small and cramped. Parking can be tough, too. However, I personally like The Habit more than In-N-Out [ducks thrown objects]. To me its just a better burger. The tempura green beans are an unusual side dish, and are very tasty. Staff are always friendly, which does make a difference. Im thankful for having a Habit close to home, but I look forward sometime to a second location in Camarillo, or at least a more spacious one.

I love the food here. I always order the sushi grade albacore sandwich on sourdough and the fried green beans. Most people order the Char burgers. The order takers are always friendly and the wait is not too long. The bathrooms are very clean. There is a little room for improvement because there is no Wi-Fi or Android pay yet. They offer lettuce wrapped hamburgers for those on a low-carb diet. The kids meals include choices with optional candy for dessert and applesauce milk to drink.

How do they wait till you pay for your food to tell you that they are very sorry but they do not have 1000 island anymore. The best part is they told me they make at the restaurant but they wont do it now. Then they asked how my meal was. I told them besides the 1000 island its was good. They started to apologize again but refused to make some some! So I will never give these owners my business. Id rather drive farther for another Habit. Dont waste your time here.

I love The Habit, but I hate how cramped this location is at lunch time. Its too small for any kind of rush. Outdoor seating helps, but not if its not a nice day out. Im always impressed by the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the staff. Try your burger "Santa Barbara-style" (it added grilled onions, avocado, and is on grilled sourdough instead of a bun).

The Habit has a pretty diverse burger menu and usually pretty good food. Today was much the same as usual. The staff was nice, place was clean, food came quick. So why 4 stars.. well, today the food was not real hot, burgers slightly dry for some reason and we saw the manager eating an ice cream behind the counter. Id still and will eat here again.

Went to the Habit last week. The buger didnt seem to taste as goog as it used to. Remembered it to be better than In&out with the add on options. But didnt feel that way from my last visit. Burger is kind of pricy after adding on guacamole and bacon. You can have the same burger at Red Robin for about the same price.

What happened to this place I just paid almost $9 for a burger that shrunk to the size of a McDonalds 99cent cheese burger. At one point I thought this place was as good as In n out burger but not anymore what a disappointment, typical as soon as they have the business they start going cheap on us.

Cant say enough good things about The Habit. Their burgers are delicious and juicy. I love getting mine lettuce wrapped. The fries are the best too... Unlike other places that taste like cardboard. These are thick and delicious, love them with their home made ranch dressing.

It was 88 degrees inside and when we asked them to turn on the ac, an associate (not the manager) told us she couldnt, and she didnt know why...but offered to open the back door for us... Food was pretty good, onion rings were overfried.

I love the Habit their food is amazing, super juicy burgers. They get 4 out of 5 stars because every time I get a milkshake it always taste disgusting. Come here to eat the good burgers and fries, do not get the milkshakes.
