*Ugh* Rodney hungry. Rodney want meat. Endless meat. Meat make Rodney happy. *Ugh* Satisfying my minor Cro-Magnon, I met with some buddies for a celebratory lunch at Pinehill BBQ & Seafood Buffet. Pinehill BBQ & Seafood Buffet is a cook at your table Korean BBQ where diners help themselves to the items they want to eat. I had flashbacks to my beloved King Genghis Khan Mongolian BBQ, which used to be open across the street from Forest Lawn in Cypress. *Sigh* Gone but not forgotten. For only $12 for weekday lunch, there is a plethora of food options available. My favorite, the brisket, beside pork bellies & pork chops Seating is plentiful & compromised of booths and communal tables, easily accomodating large parties or a few friends. The waitresses were on their game, providing refills of water & keeping the complimentary rice coming for those that wanted it. Not me, though. I stick to the meat & veggies. We also didnt need to ask to have our grills changed. A quick change here, another change there, and we were back to clogging our arteries post haste. Besides the brisket, the highlight for me was the unlimited soft serve to end our meal. This wasnt the cheap powdered stuff Ive had before at other Asian buffets. Pinehills soft serve was quite nice. Cold, creamy soft. The perfect capper to gorging meat & even more meat. Im proud of myself for exhibiting some self-control by limiting the soft serve to 1 serving for me, BTW ;p I really enjoyed my experience at Pinehill BBQ & Seafood Buffet. I feel the weekday lunch offers tremendous variety & a lot of bang for the buck. And we all know how I am when it comes to banging ;p J/K BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Highly recommend! NEVER AGAIN: They close at 9:30pm. It was 8:50. 40 minutes to their actual closing time. We walk in and the hostess says to us... "We close at 9:30." THEY WOULDNT SEAT US! Guess what? I wont be going back again.... If you (Pine Hill) close at 9:30, YOU CLOSE at 9:30. I would understand if I had walked in at 9:15 with only 15 minutes, thats a dick move on my part. But 40 minutes before you close? Thats more than enough time for someone to get a meal and be out. I will never recommend your place to anyone I know and I will be talking to everyone I HAD recommend you to NOT to go to Pine Hill ever again. By the way, its BEEF LIVER not BEEF RIVER.

GREAT tasting, well marinated meats to cook at your table. When they say its all you can eat, buddy, EAT! Great variety to choose from, and for 12.99 per person for lunch? Duh! EAT! Its the only meal i ate all day, and dang! Im still stuffed almost 10 hrs later. Btw, the white looking square, thats apparently tofu,..... not a fan, never had it b4 and, wont again, its bland, doesnt melt, doesnt burn, doesnt smoke, doesnt taste. The rest of the stuff on the buffet is GREAT! Good service, even though i couldnt understand the waitress, she sure knew how to laugh and smile. Made it all worth while.

I have been here with friends bafore. Every time ive come the quality and selection goes down. They also include mandatory 15% tip. This is buffet korean bbq. I get my own plates my own food my own sauces and i cook it my self. What am i tipping for? There was no waitress my drink didnt even get refilled. Last time i come here ever.

Very unique restaurant-buffet , you get to cook your own bbq right at your table , grill and all, with all the fixing. The meat was very tender and marinated well, friendly service. Definitely would recommend, reasonable prices!!
