Looking for pet friendly seating in the area, a bit difficult. We called this place & they set a table up for us outside. Great imported beer selection. This is the best, most flavorful Mexican I have had in a while, at a very fair price. Shrimp cocktail is more than it seems. A dozen shrimp in salsa, fresh veg & herbs, amazing.

I just went to a taqueria in San Jose the other day and for an a la carte chile relleno and beef tamale I paid $9!! At Taqueria Los Amigos for $9 you can get one of there platillos especiales (special plates for you gringos), with the meat of your choice and its HUGE. Plenty for 2 people with leftovers.

I love great Mexican food, but this is not great. They use fake guacamole, and the salsa was watery. The fajita platter was weak - little chicken upon a pile of slightly burnt veggies. Not impressed. Id rather make my own or go into Felton to their Taqueria.

Its good food, but theyve messed up my order on multiple occasions and the staff can be quite off putting and rude. There are flies inside and out smells like sewage outside, but thats Boulder Creek for ya
