I live just down the street, very dangerous, because this is the best pizza I have ever had. They have a wide variety of different, imaginative concoctions. The crust is light and delicious - sorry no crust remnants for the dog anymore. Also a plus is that they sell slices. I love this because I can have a slice from a couple of different pizzas. The owner is wonderfully friendly and can often be seen in the back hand-throwing the pizza dough. My favorite? - Corrolitos sausage and roasted apple. Yum. But then that one with the carmelized onions is great, and the one with the bbq chicken, and the one with all the different mushrooms . . .

Broken credit card machine. Surprise! Then the pizza took nearly and hour and a half when they promised it in 40 minutes. One of the pizzas wasnt even cooked fully even after all that. They claim their oven cools off when there is too much pizza in it. (Seems like a significant problem for a pizza place.) I was surrounded by other irate customers. Then they didnt even give me the correct pizzas, after all that. Strongly recommend avoiding, especially for the prices.

Decent pizza, but the quality needs to be a lot better for the price. (When there are multiple pmh within 10min you need a better product to compete). High employee turnover is a good signal of poor management Store cleanliness also needs work. Heard employees chatting about how a manager never cleans, the next day a customer came in and commented that it was like being in a million dollar bathroom (because the whole place stank).

I have had pizza all over San Francisco and New York. This ranks up there with the best of the best. Slices are plentiful and a great variety of vegetarian - which I like. You can get a glass of wine or beer as well. Its very casual - beachy. You can get in a out quickly or just hang out for awhile. Its consistently very good. Highly suggested and for the price a slice, how can you go wrong?

Yknow, upper crust is got a run for the money in Pizza 1. Like the previous review, the "Corralitos" is my fave, but then theres the chicken 2 ways.... mmm Thai sauce and carrots? Wow thats good, and the BBQ chicken on the other half. Cant go wrong there. Im so glad that theyre here, and Dominos isnt.

These reviews must be entered by people from the restaurant. The service was terrible. The pizza is mediocre tasting. I ordered a small combo #1 over the phone to be picked up. It took 40 minutes total to make it and it really wasnt that good at all.

Best pizza in Santa Cruz! I love this place and I dont understand why it gets bad reviews. Pizza One is way better than Pizza My Heart, they have an epic sourdough crust and the toppings are phenominal, support local pizza!

With so many places that offer just one type of pizza, this place has them all--standard or gourmet, New York or California, by the slice or whole pizza. Staff is low-key and friendly. And they have self-serve yogurt!

I used to like this pizza but for the past year every pie I get is consistently undercooked. The crust is doughy in the middle. I started ordering it "extra-crispy" which sometimes helps but sometimes not.

Great pizza, friendly people. I love the Coralitos Market pizza, and my wife loves the pesto chicken. They have some good wines and bottled beer if youre having it here.
