Ok so had my buddy go by today since after calling found out they just opened. Order my old favorite the Virginian with double potato. They now have two potato salads and if you want the original you have to ask for Tonys potato. Is the Virginian the same? No it has different pastrami and not the same amount and the turkey seems different and they put too much on. Also the Russian dressing is not the original. So is this a Virginian? No this is a Heros / Roscoes where as usual they put too much meat on the sandwich. As to the Potato not really. This has too much pepper and eggs compared to the original Tonys potato. For 20 years I always enjoyed the feeling I had when the taste of a Virginian came to mind and I would make that drive to get one with that amazing potato salad and after how I would feel having eaten the whole thing. Today that feeling is gone since I am just getting a Heros / Roscoes sandwich which I never did in the first place.

A block south of the Anaheim packing district, Little hole in the wall between a used car dealer and a tire shop. Tonys Original Deli and Bottle Shop is a cozy, friendly, Deli with delicious sandwiches and chili dogs. A best kept secret of Anaheim locals. A selection of Sodas, wine and beer complement the good food. Their amazing (mashed style) potato salad, and egg salad are two of Karen`s favorites. And of course I am a chili dog man. Oh and yes, they do have meatballs. Their taps also feature select brews from Anaheim Brewing company.

Worked in Anaheim over 30 years ago and used to go for lunch-had to get there before 12 noon or stand in line that would go out the back door. Would leave work at 11:30 so to avoid the long line. Great food and the people were super! Still make the drive from Ontario to have a great sandwich and a slice of dill pickle.

Im from New York, home of, in my opinion, the best delis on Earth. This is THE BEST deli Ive eaten at in LA, hands down. Delicious, fresh sandwiches, amazing sides, fast service, beer, and a super nice staff. This is definitely a straight 10/10. Come eat here ASAP.

Took the family here during our Christmas Vacation at Disneyland, and everyone loved it. The food is quality at its finest. Prices compare to a Chillis or Elephant Bar, but the food supersedes any other place. Friendly Prompt Service. Enough Said.

When I came to Orange County...ALWAYS HAD TO STOP BY..VERY DISAPPOINTED TONY Original potato salad NOT THE SAME OR THE VIRGINAN SANDWICH ( the best) no longer since the reopen...we didnt even finish our lunch..left very disappointed

Great sandwiches! Large portions, my wife and I usually split them if we can settle on something. Lots of choices for craft beers and cream sodas. Its usually pretty quiet there too except for when they have live music.

Place is amazing! Has a great vibe. Have a great selection on craft beers and the menu might be small but its well worth it. Live music on Wed, Friday and Saturday. Overall great place and would recommend to everyone.
