Ive been coming to the Roastery for quite some time now and while the coffee has always been the best in the valley, for a long time the service and management was severely lacking. Recently the shop has changed hands and we finally get service to match the quality of the coffee! Fast service (most of the time), much better food and food handling quality and the best part is that they havent changed the coffee. The new owner seems to want to make up for the mistakes the previous owner made, so every day shes talking with customers and the improvements are noticeable. I highly recommend the Roastery for anyone interested in high quality coffee and an extremely comfortable atmosphere. All of the Roasting is done on site, so the coffee is pretty much guaranteed to be one of the freshest cups youll ever have. Add to that the fact that their espresso is comparable to some of the finest in Europe and you wont be disappointed.

Just a neighborhood haunt for me. They have wifi, but Im never here long enough to use it so I havent yet asked for the mot de passe. I get the Breve a lot, however although the cream is different, if youre wondering about your macros it has the same as a normal latte. I just enjoy the taste a little bit better. There is a plethora of baked goods for purchase. The folks who work here seem to be even more morning types than even I because theyre open early. Another I like is the red-eye which is a shot of espresso and then filled with your choice of roast, one I have yet to try is the black-eye which is two shots of espresso and then fill with your choice of roast. What takes Village over the top are the choices of full, but light breakfast options.

The Village Coffee Roastery is a true gem!! I was visiting Scottsdale in April of this year. I believe that the shop had just been taken over by new owners a short time before. At the time what was lacking in decor and ambiance was made up for by the fabulous coffee. I was back in the Scottsdale area a few weeks ago and stopped in for the best coffee Ive ever tasted and imagine my surprise to find that the decor and ambiance had caught up with the terrific coffee. They now offer more food/snack choices. I dont know who their baker is, but the Italian lemon cake is to die for!!! I spoke with the owner, Lisa, and have beans shipped to me back home the very day they are roasted. Do not miss out on this litle gem when you are in Scottsdale!

I was really disappointed in this place. I wanted to buy some coffee beans to take home with me, so after looking at their "Coffee By The Pound" menu, I asked for a certain kind only to be told "sorry, we dont have that." Well, then why would you put out a list of all these coffees and not have any of them in stock? There was no music in the store and very dull art on the wall. The mood was very somber. I didnt even get a "hello" from anyone. I dont think Ill be going back.

Top 5 coffee shop in the valley! Service is always on point. The food menu is good with consistent quality. But above all, the coffee is absolutely excellent. They roast a variety of beans weekly. Every step in the process is scientifically monitored. Im a coffee snob and I buy whole bean roasted coffee here. The coffee I enjoy at home is great as a result. But even I cannot replicate the end result experienced here. They take it to a whole other level

Very friendly staff and their coffee is really smooth! Wife got iced mocha, its sweet but still great espresso flavor. I got the hazelnut latte and its best I get! Ive been to all the local coffee spots in the valley and i think this has the best smooth espresso. (even compared to lux on central which is saying alot)!

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in north-ish Scottsdale. The customer service is always on point, fresh muffins, scones and quiche every morning, and of course, outstanding caffeinated beverages. This was a regular stop on my morning commute for a year or more. Sip a latte and enjoy the artwork.

Coffee was too bland, I had a Sumatra - tried the Columbian first, tasted like Foldgers My wife had an ice coffee - it looked like an iced tea and tasted like lightly coffee flavored water Go to Cartel in Old Town if you want a real coffee...thats the best coffee Ive ever had
