I have eaten at over 100 different "Chinese" restaurants across the country and tend to rate them by there General Taos Chicken. I have to add that in to this review but wont hold it to them yet. I have ordered this many times to go and almost never had it be soggy even the next day. I ate it only 20 minutes after leaving there and it was just that; however, the chicken was all white meat w/ no fat and plentiful which says alot. Someone wrote previously that their Orange Chicken (same chicken, different sauce) was better than Panda Express. Thats like saying your $9 burger was better than the one from the hospital cafeteria. I did order Mongolian Chicken as well however and it was exceptionaly good as were the Spring Rolls, although small. The egg drop soup was average and good. The last two items came with my lunch special as well as a "crab"puff, this being one of my normal gripes. You know what I mean. The owner and here children( not too young, learning a good work ethic) were exceptionaly friendly asking about my little boy and giving him suckers after asking his favorite color. Im trying it again tonight and hope to give them a better rating in the future. I hope they read this and work on there GT recipe.

I have a few friends that rave about this place. I love family owned restaurants and this one was great. All the staff was friendly and the dishes had great sauce and flavor. Small family owned Chinese restaurant atmosphere fills up fast even on a week day. Prices are fair and on par with others in the area. Its a little far from our house so we probably wont be back unless we are in the area, but if we lived closer this would definitely turn into a regular spot. Wasnt a fan of the fried shrimp or spring roles, breading was too much on the shrimp and roles were only ok. Also I wish there was an option on the combo to have pork fried rice instead of white.

They have great lunch deals. I got the beef and broccoli it also came with a crab wonton egg drop soup a spring roll 2 balls of brown rice. All that for only 5.25$ during lunch time(11-3pm) . It tasted great as well the meat was perfectly cooked the rice was sticky just perfect not too sticky. I cant think of a better chinese food place around here. The lady is super nice and very quite spoken service is super fast as well. Ive also had the teriyaki chicken and wow its the best Ive ever had no joke. Im trying to think of a negitive of this place and cant. If your around this you should stop by and grab some food from here you wont regret it.

Took friends from out of state here while visiting. They absolutely loved this place. I used to think Rubys had the best egg Fu young but this place beat Rubys by far. Only problem is I wish this place had a buffet so we could try out all their food. The service was excellent they were very friendly and prompt. Food was served very quickly and pipping hot. Will definitely be returning to this place since Rubys is no longer in business now.

Food is absolutely delicious! Orange chicken is better than Panda Express!!! The people that work there are very nice! It isnt a hole in the wall, it is a very nice restaurant atmosphere. And the food is worth even more than what they charge. Its so good I would gladly pay more. It is a very good value for very good food! J & M is my favorite restaurant in Arizona.

I like J & M, the family is really nice. The food is pretty good (I would give it 3.5 stars) and they will deliver within a range for $20 purchase. The Chicken Chow Fun is really good, yang chow fried rice, and I like their sizzling rice soup. Theyre menu is pretty large so everyone is sure to find something good.

Im from Chicago and find it very hard to find good food in general, let alone chinese food. I was beyond pleased that this restaurant moved in down the street from my house and my family is now regulars there. The name has changed a couple times, but they always have the same great food and great service!!

Best Chinese food we have had in the Phoenix area!! Ingredients are all consistently fresh every time and not cheap cuts you normally get in carry-out or delivery chinese food. Excellent service and very personable employees. Our family favorite and definitely better than all on the east side of town!

Their food is so fresh and perfect. Its hands down best Chinese food Ive ever had. Their service is so respectful and prompt. They are polite and helpful recommending choices. Their soups are fresh and hot. I cant say enough about them you gotta eat there!!! Oh and their tea is so delicious!! Oolong!

We waited 45 minutes and only got soup from our dinner combination because we went to the counter to ask for it. Then people who came in 45 minutes after us were served their entire meal. Also the crab wonton had no crab just cream cheese and a wrapper.

I had the house lo mein dinner combo and it was good, but plain. I would expect the house of anything would be one of their signature plates, but maybe the chief was having an off night. It was a filling dinner, it just didnt taste like anything.

I didnt care for the food at all. I had the General Tso chicken and it was one of the worst Ive had. The fried rice was good. Service was ok. Atmosphere was dull. I try to support locally owned places, but I wont go back.

Delivery was the worst. said 1 hour and it was almost 2 hours. called 3 times and they said its on its way every time. really? not a good experience and the food was cold and dry. NOT A FAN!

Egg drop tasted like canned celery and corn while broth had no flavor. Delivery took over an hour. I am very unhappy and will never order from this Chinese place again.

I really enjoyed their food. Very generous portions and pretty tasty. I usually get it to go as I live nearby. The decor is o.k. but the food is worth the stop.

Open late, which is a rarity in this part of town. Excellent service, staff doesnt mind having a laugh with you. Will definitely go again.
