This was by far one of my most displeasing stays at a resort. I dont see how this could possibly be 5 stars. The first night we arrived we ate dinner in the lounge. Our waiter came to our table once to take our order then once more to bring our check. Someone else brought our food and not once did we revive a refill on our drinks. We have a 10 month old baby with us that loves the water so we paid to "upgrade" to a room with a private hot tub on the deck. This was an enormous mistake. The first night people down in the lounge were so loud that they woke the baby up 3 times called front desk multiple times not much help. The next morning we were woke up at 6:30 the the wonderful sound of hammer drills and dump trucks due to the construction below our "upgraded room". We got ready for the day and took the kids to the pool. This was probably the only enjoyable part of our stay great pool and wonderful wait staff. Although all the food we ordered for lunch came out cold. We swam most the day and returned to our room around 3:30 and our room had not been cleaned yet. We called to see what happened and they said they forgot and would clean at turn down service that evening, but would be sure to clean eairlier the following day... we were checking out the following day! Our last night was worse then the first the "upgraded room" next to us also with a private hot tub was having a pool party till 1:00 am with extremely loud music and a girl that had the loudest voice I have ever heard. Again fighting to keep baby asleep we called the front desk they sent someone up, but this made them mad cause after that they took their party up a notch and the noise got louder. This was not a pleasant experience by any stretch of the imagination, and I surely hope this was an isolated incident cause I have stayed at a best western and had a better stay.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, but rooms are not 5 star. Bath tub was grimy and needed a deep clean. There was no ventalation in the bathroom so after taking a shower it was way too hot to get ready for a long time afterwards. Bathroom scale didnt work. The TV kept cutting out and shutting off randomly and wouldnt come back for 15-20 min. The first night I woke up and couldnt sleep because it was so hot. There was no cold air coming out of the vents so I had to open the door until it was too cold and I had to get up again to shut it. In the morning I called the front desk (on a phone that appeared to be from the 80s) to tell them the A/C didnt work. They sent someone up who fixed it. Nobody ever called back to follow up. The next night the air shut off again around 3 AM and I couldnt sleep again. We were checking out that day so I mentioned at as we were leaving. They just smiled and said they were sorry. In my experience a hotel would normally offer to switch you rooms after the first call or at least follow up. I would not recommend this hotel for the price, there are some much better places to stay in Park City.

Poor experience . We reseved a deluxe king . What a joke . Room 201-3 , this must have beeb Steins closet for his skis . A room stuck in the eighties needs to be upgraded. Broken tub drain , broken toilet that wont flush . Very small jetted tub. THIS IS NOT THE FIVE STAR RESORT THEY CLAIM TO BE. Tried to order off the menu in the room , was told we had the winter menu and it was now summer time . When the other room service menu was brought up the prices were 30% to 40% higher for the same exact thing ( like the rib eye ) , the quinoa salad meal was $42.00 for quinoa !! The spa claim to be the best in Utah , which it i s not. The Grand Ameica in SLC is alot better . COME ON STEIN ERICKSON IF YOU SAY YOUR A FIVE STAR RESORT ACT LIKE ONE !! AND FOR HEAVENS SAKE DEFINITELY UP GRADE ROOMS LIKE 201-3 ....and teach your maids and housekeeping to knock loadly before barging in the rooms !! May 19 ,20 , 21. (2017) A BAD EXPERIENCE, NOT VERY IMPRESSED

I recently stayed at the Stein Eriksen Lodge for the Entrata conference and all I can say is - WOW! Exceptional over the top service by all the staff. There were several occasions I was wandering around lost on the grounds and each time a staff member approached me and walked me to my destination. There was one staff member that stood out among all the rest - Karlawan Todd. She took such good care of me during my stay. She didnt miss a single detail. Each afternoon and evening when I arrived back to my room I found it in perfect order which helped me relax and enjoy the beautiful room amenities after a long day. I loved coming back in the evening and finding soothing music playing, my bed turned down, the humidifier full and running, chocolates, and the weather forecast for the next day. BIG THANK YOU to Karla for making my stay at the Stein Eriksen Lodge so completely wonderful. Mami Davis

We had a reservation made for Sunday 3/12/17 at 1 for the Brunch, the front desk people could never find it. We still had some friends already eating inside so they offered us to seat with them. We got moved to a table for 4. My friends had had a bad service form the waitress they had in the ogher table, so we got a new waitress, Adriana, she was good, the only bad thing was that when we paid her, she never came back with the final receipt or the change, she did not even ask us if we needed any change. We paid our $106 bill with $150 "we were planning on leaving the rest for the tip anyways" but at least ASK if you can keep my change. I mean you dont ALWAYS get 45% on TIPS, but I guess she assumed, and never came back, we were there for 20 more minutes, not even to offer more water she came back, she banished with my change.

5/28/16. Stayed here for our 8th Anniversary (8 months, not years ya see). We like to celebrate our time together and experience perfect moments together whenever we can and there is no better place than Stein Ericksen Lodge to make that happen. The staff is phenomenal! Duane showed us around the property and is sincere in making guests feel welcome and comfortable. Jonathan made our dining experience fun and enjoyable. Love his sense of humor! We told him to grab a spoon and join us for dessert. He said he was in but couldnt break away from his duties. Such a great sense of humor! The valet staff made sure we were well taken care of. Very attentive and professional. We enjoyed everyone we came in contact with, your people make the difference, would love to come back soon. Richard And Tammy Taurone

This place truly earns every star. The mountain is underrated. If you spend a few days exploring youll find more than perfectly groomed runs. There are fresh powder stashes all over the mountain. The resort is the best in Park City, and one of the nicest with any kind of accommodations in the country. The bartenders remember you every year, and the wait staff is top notch. The locker room attendants are incredible as well. Theyll take your boots off and put them on, store your equipment, get you water, whatever! Lastly, the wild game chili is something I literally think about at least once a week. My yearly voyage back here is something I look forward to with excitement.
