Food is good man three visits in a row.... First visit I called in a To go order came in 10 mins later (always early) to wait to make sure its hot. Waited another 20 mins when I got there just to see them hand me a bag that was sitting there for 15 mins... 2nd visit - dined in, everything was great 3rd visit, another to go order today. Called in to place the order, was on hold for about 5 mins too long, thinking its 1pm on a Tuesday "maybe theres a lunch rush, who knows" (benefit of the doubt) -- decided to stay on hold and was already begun heading over there. I walk in... Place is empty! at most two couples inside, looked at my phone STILL ON HOLD....18 minutes later. full staff at most the busiest ones were filling mustard and ketchup bottles (not to rude by any means, just being honest) Im wondering why am I STILL on hold!?! The only reason why I continued to order was because I already mentioned to a co-worker they had to try this place.... Lesson here - dine in, or not at all, pretty much like all reviews on here. Each visit is a hit or miss.

My mom went there for lunch today and brought me back a burger some fries and a shake. I had looked online earlier to tell her what I wanted her to bring me back and there wasnt anything I really wanted on the menu (I had wanted a mushroom burger and onion rings and seriously what sort of burger place doesnt have onion rings on the menu?) so I told her to get me the chophouse burger, no tomato or lettuce, add bacon and pepper jack cheese, the parmesan fries and a shake. She comes back and tells me she had them put the truffle sauce on the side because she had it on her burger and didnt like it so I tried a bit of the sauce and didnt like it, but to be fair I am a picky eater. So I put it aside and had my burger which was ok and the fries were alright too. I asked mom how much my meal costs, just because I try to keep track of how much places cost, and determined that it was not worth the price she payed. I dont think well be going back unless theres honestly no other option.

Ive tried so hard to like this place. Ive given it like 6 chances and each time Ive been disappointed. The quality and taste of the food is fine (they havent changed their menu though). The seating is uncomfortable unless youre in a booth, but the real problem is the service. Service is wildly slow even if theyre mostly empty. The staff is equal parts negligent and uninterested- absolutely clueless when it comes to food allergies and apathetic and slow to correct mistakes. We have had to send an order back 4 times (in one visit) to get it right. Weve had the manager say he was too busy to speak to us when we had a complaint. Too bad, it has the potential to be a unique place in this area.

Today was my first time coming here and let me tell you. This place is amazing!! The restaurant is very well decorated and welcoming. Their menu is simple put and not difficult to understand. Their prices are great and well worth it for the taste of their food. Oh the taste, lets just say I DIDNT PUT MY BURGER DOWN at all. It was delicious, juicy, dripping delicious juice from the burger and truffle sauce. The shakes are heaven. Get the Frenchie! This restaurant gets an A1+ from me and will always be my go to place. Definitely recommend coming here!

My wife ordered a chop salad and requested bacon bits on top. They charged an extra dollar and brought her two slices of bacon next to the bowl of salad. I ordered a chop house burger and wanted the regular onions grilled instead. They wanted an extra dollar for grilled onions. Their prices are unreasonable for their quality, and Im sitting on the toilet right now squirting my brains out because their chili is made from ground dog food. Please save yourself the car payment-like expense and go to whataburger or in-n-out.

Wow! Not sure what happened tonight but it was bad! Watched our food sit for over five minutes. When it arrived it was cold! My husband ordered the buffalo burger, noticed it was bland...go figure no sauce. We watched many orders just sitting under the heat lamp. One waitress was working heart out, so was the kitchen! Others, not so much. Manager on duty, finally jumped in to start deliverying food. This was the worse experience at chop house, so disappointed! Well stick to Twisted Root burgers next time.

It wasnt what Id hoped for. This is only the second night but I went early around 5:30 and the place was empty. Anyway, ordered a burger, nothing special and a bit dry. The truffle fries were not even hot, more of a lukewarm. We also ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken and it was not drained before it was put on the sandwich. The bread acted as a blotter. There are better and cheaper places to eat in the area. Good thing is it cant get much worse.

While a bit on the pricey side they always deliver when it comes to quality and service. The manager is typically bringing the food to the tables which is nice to see as a patron. There is always someone walking around checking on your table to ensure that everything is to your liking and even refilling your empty drinks! Great food, great staff and perfect location for a quick lunch run to those of us that call the mid-cities home.

Food was great and nice to have real beef on a burger not processed with fillers and additives. Met the owner as me and my son dined and we were reviewing burger establishments for taste. He was nice and reiterated the beef was brought in daily for consumption. I would recommend to anyone, and the staff are great and helpful as well. Cant beat this place with any fast food chain Top Notch *****

Best burgers in the area. I go nowhere else for burgers now. Get the original chophouse and truffle fries. Do yourself a favor and go medium-rare. Reasonable price for food. Top notch, locally sourced ingredients. Excellent price for the beer $3 pints. Only 3 on tap but they all pair with burgers perfectly. Also a nice bottle/can selection if thats your thing.

Food is GREAT! Something is wrong with their pickup policy, they keep asking for my ENTIRE credit card number AND expiration date?!? I really dont feel like patronizing them anymore because "thats their policy". And its an invasive, and maybe illegal, policy. No employee should have to ask for someone full name, phone, credit card and exp, Its just wrong.

Great food and awesome staff! Manager RJ is clearly running a great location - very approachable and friendly! Alyssa was great and I even got to meet Andres, the master burger maker who created my masterpiece! Amazing food plus a fun atmosphere and great people makes this a great place for lunch or dinner...best in DFW in my opinion!

Dropped by here for friends and family night. Very friendly staff. Amazing burger. You can actually see the meat; thick, juicy and delicious. It actually tasted like meat. The fries were good too. I cant afford to eat out much but when I do this is one of the 1st places on my list. I was impressed with the entire experience.
