I only ate here once, in June of 2016. I ordered vegetable tofu. The tofu dish came in black bean sauce, and tasted a little bland, but came with a huge plate of white rice. Perhaps other items on their menu are better, but I wont find out because I dont expect to eat at this place again any time soon. Heres why: First and foremost, they refuse to allow paying customers to use the restroom. Also, if you want more napkins or sauce packets, you have to ask for them. (Does anyone eat white rice without some kind of sauce?) A better restaurant would have sauce packets and napkins on the counter for easy access. The "soy sauce" and "duck sauce" packets are the exact same ones that seem to be used by every Chinese takeout restaurant Ive ever seen. The "soy sauce" contains no actual soy, and could more accurately be called "salt water sauce". There is a tip jar on the counter. In lieu of a cash tip, I wrote a little note telling them if they want repeat customers and good recommendations they should let customers use the restroom. Right next store to Wai Wah is an excellent pizza restaurant called Sals. I suggest eating there instead.

Wai Wah is more expensive than your typical Chinese restaurant but I dont mind paying because their food is more delicious than your typical Chinese restaurant. Like most Chinese restaurants, Wai Wah uses dark meat chicken when they prepare your dishes. Be sure to ask for white meat only. They will charge $1 extra for the substitution but your meal will be that much tastier. This place extremely busy on the weekends, so be sure to place your order well in advance.

The food was dripping in sesame oil i mean beyond what is normal the general tsaos chicken tasted like straight duck sauce . god forbid they should put a mustard into the bag and they do not accept credit or debit !! If youre lookingvfor good chinese food this is not your place !!!

This place has changed hands. Used to be the local place where the food was good and the service was friendly and fast. The food and service are now very poor. There are many other local options that are better.
