Had a divine slice of Margherita pizza one day at Cer Te, so a week later ordered a Margherita for delivery to share with friends. What arrived was something called Socca, which was a pancake shaped brown mess with a few shavings of cheese on top. Beside the point (because it went directly into the trash), it was stone cold and soggy (a bad sign). When I called Cer Te, we ended up agreeing that I had ordered incorrectly and that I should have ordered a "Cer Te Margherita pizza" - ok, fair enough. So I placed another order, this time for a CTM pizza, and was told it would take at least 45 minutes. I live 4 blocks away and it was a Monday night but, again, fair enough so ok. An hour and 15 minutes later, I called. "Its out being delivered" was the response, but it wasnt said with much conviction so I pressed the issue. After a prolonged exchange, it turned out that there was not even a record of the order. This conversation was with the same woman who had taken the order, but she had absolutely no recollection of it. She told me I could put in another order but it would take at least a half hour, and that there was no guarantee about that. This was so reassuring that my friends and I decided to go to Rosa Mexicano, where we ordered a different kind of Margueritas - they were delivered to our table immediately, and were delicious. Cer Te: excellent pizza, exceptionally inadequate delivery system and staff. Hopefully, they can fix that.

This place. I think I could eat here all day or for each meal. However you want to swing it. They have breakfast pizza which was so surprising good Im still thinking about. Lol. I got the BLT pizza which has bacon, leeks, tomatoes, cheese, and eggs. Damn good. Inside the restaurant they have flavored oils: garlic oil and jalapeño oil. Im a fan of the garlic oil. They even have a habañero sauce which is tasty but soo hot. All of the pizza I have tried is damn good. I love the pomodoro slice. The Lafayette with sauteed onions and cheese was good. The broken lasagna mmmmm good. They have 2/$6 on the slices after 7pm. Their sauce (tomato) is so tasty I used it for the holidays this year as a dip for family. They sell it separately. Thank you. They have rice balls (with beef inside) and fried spaghetti which is a bit like a baked spaghetti (alt to baked ziti) ricotta cheese, fried in a ball and served with their yummy sauce. Sometimes the pizza can bit a weeee bit dry so I just get the sauce or oil on the side. Sall good. Their baked goods are equally tasty and flavorful. Love the brownies. They have a cannolo cupcake. They have complimentary alkaline water with fruit and cucumber for dine in. Check them out.

Definitely coming back here! I recently got a groupon deal for this place. im little hesitant when Im using groupon as some restaurants are not too welcoming when ordering with groupon deals. However, the staff at the cash register and manager were extremely friendly and accommodating. He asked me how I found about this place and I told him I saw the place on groupon and reviews on yelp were good so I wanted to try pizza and chicken Milanese. He said they try their best and I have to agree with him and the yelp reviews!! I ordered two Milanese chicken and mushroom and saw-seech personal pizzas. From ordering to picking up my food it took about 15 minutes. The pizzas were amazing and I want to try other flavours. The toppings were generous and fresh. The chicken Milanese portions were huge as it came with a side. I got zuchini marinara and spaghetti pomodoro and they were huge portions too and the pasta sauce was amazing!!! Pros - friendly staff Tasty and Fresh food Inexpensive and huge portions Not salty Free lemon infused water Cons - system was down when I went Minimal seating space so take out is preferred

First off this is fancy pizza not necessarily NY style per se (fresh basil, sauce). With that being said the only thing better than the pizza is the customer service. I ordered a margherita pizza and a pie with spinach/ricotta. I confused the spinach for basil; I thought they didnt give me my toppings and called. They said not a problem when I called. 5-10 minutes later I realized there was spinach and ricotta but confused it for basil. I apologized and said not to worry, the person I spoke to made it themself so knew it was correct but customer service first and said though the pizza is in the oven already not to worry. THEN they still gave me the pie for free and 5 minutes before they close. Cant say enough nice things about the pizza and the place.

Items for delivery come well-packaged and all pizzas are available by the slice. The Bolognese slice (a chewy crust with crumbled meatball, ricotta and tomato sauce) is my personal favorite. The chicken parmigiana over spaghetti arrived slightly soggy, but the "Tuscan Chicken Under Brick" was flavorful and retained its crispy roasted skin. The Vahlrona brownie is a good option for the purists who prefer their brownies moist and saturated with pure dark chocolate flavor uncontaminated by nuts or other mix-ins. The Hudson Valley panna cotta with mixed berries was delicious - the sweetness is subtle enough to enjoy this as a breakfast treat. The only disappointing dessert item was the slightly dry cannoli cupcake.

Ive only gotten the pizza here so I cant speak to anything else, but I didnt really like this place. Ive been a couple of times, and every time the pizza has that stale feel to it that you get with pizza thats been sitting out all day and then just gets reheated in the oven. Its reasonable to expect that from a lot of quick pizza places for sure, but at over $4 a slice, I expect it to be much better than it is. I will say however, that it doesnt leave you with the greasy taste and feel you get with a lot of other pizza places, so if thats your prime concern then this place definitely fits that description.

I crave their pizza. Im a native New Yorker who loves her pizza. This is by far my favorite slice. When in the neighborhood I cant help but come by and get a slice...then a second. The salads, homemade pastas, soups, gluten-free pizza and other entrees are also really good, but when here I cant seem to pass up the pizza. The staff regulars are lovely, especially Ashely. I also appreciate that they provide complimentary infused Alkaline water. Plus Pizza by Certé is a Certified 3-Star Green Restaurant. Come and support this wonderful local gem!

Great artisanal pizza in Midtown East. This is a tiny pizzeria that offers pizza, sandwiches, salads, and pastries. The pizza is thin crust, often sauceless, sometimes gluten free, and totally not NY style at all. Its almost gourmet. They like to be organic. They even have an herb garden growing out of the wall. Pizza by Certe is also eco-friendly using recycled plates and what not. My favorite is the Farmers pizza and mushroom. Slather it with garlic olive oil and tons of red pepper. Spicy, fresh, and delicious.
