Dont come to this Krestaurant until they will make some changes. Here are the "CONS" 1) They will tell you waiting time is 20 minutes-- "liar" we waited an hour to wait for available table 2) Very inefficient -- when busy they should know how to deal with it--need more staffs to accommodate their clients -- take so long to refill glass of water/orders, staffs are wearing apron but dont have a straw/chopsticks inside the apron pockets-- 3) Refills takes forever--no wonder the customer stays longer cause they havent eaten yet-- 4) There were tables --where customers stayed until closing time--they should have given them the receipt to pay cause they are no longer ordering--basically they are NOT generating money from that table--it could have been given to the ones in queue 5) NO one over see or oversight the customers table-- the guy in the check out area is useless a robot --he doesnt know his job---or how he could go beyond his job 6) The restaurant does not have a good working exhaust system-- YOU will smell when you go out from this restaurant-- 7) The $20 eat all you can is a joke--you dont get what they tell you. Reasons: they run out of it, takes so long to get refill/order, when you get closer to their closing time you wont get your next meat, we were served with a burnt steamy egg-- 8) The restaurant needs Sanitary check up-- 9) They need to provide better AC--its so hot inside specially every table has a stove cooking the meat and when they burnt it it really smell inside-- 10) After all -- this restaurant has an authentic Korean dishes! They just need to improve their mechanics to generate more and serve more people--they need to observe other restaurants on how they handle customers in busy busy situation---I feel sorry for their burnt out staffs their faces like almost wanting to cry--- Maybe the management thinks they have saved by having few staffs thats a WRONG concept--- They really need some help to survive in this business cause they so have one huge advantage--- Best FOOD! They need to make sure their customers come in and being served FAST--- leave FAST and Satisfied--

If you can get over the fact that Seoul Garden is far away from St. Louis City and a bit run down inside, youll find a great little Korean joint! The owner is always there with a wide grin, ready to greet you and seat you in smoking or non-smoking. Korean TV flashes in two different ceiling corners of the restaurant. Do not expect to be showered with the niceties of other establishments. The service is simple and friendly, the food is inexpensive, the portions are ample and absolutely delicious. I had just spent a great deal of time in Korea and the food at Seoul Garden is truly authentic. If youre into spice try the Tofu and Kimchi soup. Its my favorite. Bibimbap is served in a large stone dish, sizzling as it arrives at your table. Banchan (side dishes of pickles and marinated vegetables) are always provided compliments of the owner. This varies from kimchi made of napa cabbage, sesame bean sprouts, parboiled salted potatoes with sesame. Its glorious! I highly recommend making the trek if you like Korean food and want to avoid all the fuss of a normal busy restaurant. This is a restaurant created in some part for local Koreans. Whenever I am there, there are large groups and Korean families enjoying themselves.

Staying at the Crowne Plaza down the street, and decided to try it out @2p for lunch. Walked in by myself, and was seated and attended to promptly. Service was fine, as I was 1 of maybe 3 tables with people. I thought the prices were fair, they even have lunch specials starting at $8.95. Good selection of all the favorites. I had the dukkboggi, and spicy pork combo with tofu "chigae". Everything was amazing! Came with about 10 side dishes and a small bowl of rice. The taste was incredible. They did not cook it in front of me, but that is usually the case when its only 1 person. Also, I didnt see any holes in the tables so maybe its a portable grill they bring out?? Didnt care, food was delicious! Would definitely repeat! Very authentic taste/ style. I would know, I lived in Korea for 13 years. Check it out if you like Korean. Also, other reviews mention to go in with a Korean. Wouldnt hurt but didnt seem very necessary. Waitress seemed shy (like every other Korean girl) so maybe that was their problem. Idk. I enjoyed it very much! Menu has English.

Unless you are Korean dont come here at all. They discriminate and cheat you since they dont think you know any better. Here are the issues: 1) menu says $20 for all you can eat but when I order this they say it has to be minimum 2 people so menu is not honest and up front, 2) then when try to order 2 orders for $40 all you can eat they wouldnt let me buy it by myself, 3) so when I got upset and said will just order 2 bbq dinners they would not let me grill at table but kitchen will cook my food, 4) when got upset and just wanted to order To Go instead, only got half of side items and less meat then dining in even though paid same $. Crazy rules. Dont come here without korean friends. The owner is a liar and a cheat. To top it off we saw a mouse running around.

I just had dinner at Seoul Garden and I have to say that I was a little skeptical at first. But all in all, it was really good Korean food and Mr. Kang was so friendly! He greeted me at the door and was all smiles! The decor is definitely not what Americans are used to but having lived in Korea for a period of time, it wasnt anything out of the ordinary for me....very plain, nothing at all fancy, and Korean broadcasts on the television. The beef bul-go-gi was really good and the kimchi was excellent.....all VERY authentic. I would recommend this place for friends who are adventurous and I will definitely eat here again. And to the two folks who were inconsiderate enough to leave their harsh reviews, if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all!

Great food, slow service, especially when theyre busy. The prices are also a little steep, but the food... The food is so good, that even with a few glaring issues, this place is still barely not a five star restaurant. The free side dishes are amazing, the kimchi is great, the meat is fresh and incredibly well marinated. Honestly, this place could be a big room without furniture, and I would still go there at least once a month. I think that this is just one of those nice little niche places that cater to people that know what they want. I would recommend this place to anyone who likes Korean food in a heartbeat, but might be a little more hesitant to bring my grandmother or a picky child.

Delicious Korean Kitchen served fresh, sizzling and with good friendly service. It was our second time here with our 10-yr-old, and again we found something for everyone. Bi bim Bup Bowl was fresh, but beef on it didnt really have the bulgogi flavor. I will try a different meat next time. My husbands seafood soup bowl was delicious, he took more than half of it home. Our other order was Jaeph Noodle bowl with chicken and it had a really good savory flavor. My only negative are the prices, a bit over-the-top so we can only afford to come here occasionally. If it was in the $9-$12 range, I could see myself coming in monthly, but at $15/plate, its just not the best price point.
