Perhaps this restaurant has had a change of staff, because I went there expecting problems but I was pleasantly surprised. I showed up at about 3:30 pm on a random day during the week. The buffet was filled and all of the food was between hot and piping hot (except oddly for the almond boneless chicken). Bear in mind that Chinese buffets do not normally carry authentic Chinese food, the type of food that Chinese people living in China eat. But for the Chinese food that Americans are used to, everything was perfectly fine, except for the almond boneless chicken. I mainly prefer spicier Chinese dishes, and the spicier dishes were both appropriately spiced and freshly heated. The General Tsos chicken was 4/5 and the other spicy dishes were mainly 5/5. I didnt eat the sushi, the American food, or the vegetables, so your mileage may vary there. The staff was attentive. I dont think theyre fluent in English, but lets be kind here. They did their jobs well and I left a $5 tip. They never begged for money. I left the restaurant happy and ultimately thats all you can ask for in a dining experience.

The food is great, there is a decent amount of food, the service is good, and the food is always fresh. I would have given a 5-star rating, but the last time I visited Asian Buffet, our waitress cleared our table and sat somebody else down at it. Yes, you heard me correctly. We walked to the buffet, and then walked back to our table once we were finished filling our plates, only to find that our drinks were gone and a group of Asians were sitting at our table. Also, the people that were sat next to us were at the buffet for over 10 minutes, but nobody cleared their table. This doesnt mean that I wont be returning to Asian Buffet, because its probably the best Chinese buffet Ive ever been to (and Ive been to a LOT of Chinese buffets), but Im still kind of disappointed that we were gone for less than 5 minutes, and our waitress assumed that we had left the restaurant. Plus, like I said, the people that were sat next to us had been at the buffet for over 10 minutes, and nobody assumed that they had left. Im going to return to Asian Buffet later today.

Very nice, very clean, and nicely put together little Chinese buffet. Dont listen to the SCHMENDRICK who posted the previous negative comment(s). I know a good Chinese buffet when I visit one. Its a passion of mine. Im not even from around here, I travel alot. Ive been to Chinese restaurants all over the country. Check my reviews. Im from the South. Florida. Tonite, I ate the best sauteed Collard Greens Ive ever had before in my life. Ive never tasted anything so good, tender, and flavorful as those Collards. These people know what theyre doing. I critique starting with the Cold bar and move on from there: Sushi, shellfish, Hot & Sour soup, sticky rice, lo mein, Mongolian pork, seafood delight, egg roll, spring roll, etc....all of it WAS GREAT!!! Do this Buffet. U wont be disappointed. Oh, and the schmendrick that was complaining about the price...if you have to ask before you go in, you probably cant afford it. Its not unreasonably priced. You cant get good Chinese for what youre used to paying at Cicis pizza.......

We have been eating at this restaurant about once a week for the past 4 years. Until recently the food was excellent. About 3 - 4 months ago we noticed a sharp drop in the quality. Thinking this might have been just a bad day, upon going the next week it was equally as poor. So, we have reduced our patronage to about once a month to see if it gets back to the former quality and taste. It hasnt. We ate there again at noon today and experienced the same poor quality. Flavors not up to par and even poor in some cases, many items are tough, and the worst are the breaded items such as the orange chicken. These have almost no meat inside the breading, or none in many cases, and the breading is just a tough, chewy blob. So, we have been wondering what the explanation is and can only think it must have changed chefs or owners or both to account for such a drop in quality.

The selection of food was GREAT. That said, I was not impressed. The atmosphere was dull and some of the food was mislabeled or cold. The sushi and salad were blah. The server was very obviously on her phone the entire time, talking into it like a walkie talkie within feet of us, which is just so unprofessional. We did not feel welcomed, and I understand buffets, Ive worked them, but if you want people to leave tips, why not take your job seriously, meet eyes, be nicer? I left 20% out of habit but I can see why someone else would not. Of course it could just be our server; another helped out occasionally and she was nice, I wish we could have tipped her instead.

I went there today with my family and it was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant. We got the bill which was higher than expected and thought it was a mistake but paid it anyhow. I handed him a 10% discount coupon and paid the bill. I left a 15% tip and walked out. I was in the parking lot chatting with my parents when the owner came out and asked him there was anything wrong with the service. I was confused with the question and he proceeded to complain about how its a one plate limit of crab legs and that a 15% tip wasnt enough. He through the cash at me and walked back inside.

I have never had a bad experience and the food is always fresh and hot on the buffet. Not sure how someone could not understand their bill as the prices are listed! ???? people just always need to complain about something! If you look at the negative reviews it not about the food its about a coupon! we just ordered lunch for 2 people and our bill was $10.90! What are people complaining about 10% off? $1 or $2????? The food is excellent The service is excellent The prices are amazing!

I have been a regular for a while and have liked the food but the owner has had an attitude about my not always tipping. Today he actually followed me out of the restaurant and got in my face about it. Accused me of not caring about the people that work there, now I eat i plate of food, a bowl of soup and sometimes dessert. It is not like I am making him go broke. If an owner has the nerve to do that to a 2 to 3 time a week customer he needs a reality check.

I figured you cant go wrong with Almond Chicken, so I ordered the combo for lunch. I was wrong. The batter was very greasy. The gravy tasted like a standard brown poultry gravy, more like thanksgiving than a Chinese sauce. The fried rice was an unappealing yellow color, and also tasted oily. I would comment on my egg roll, but they failed to include it with my carry out lunch! This is some of the most subpar Chinese food Ive had, and Ive had a lot!
