We have been regular customers here but this evenings experience makes it our last time. I do not know if they have changed hands, a bad day in the kitchen or inexperienced wait staff. Two of us ordered soups and the "Sampler" appetizer. The waitress did try to explain but not very well, that the appetizer will take some time. We told her we had the time. The soups arrived and were good, however the wonton chips were stale and in crumbs. When we asked for fresh ones, she tried to tell us the chips were fine. After insisting, she did bring us a bag of wontons from the carry out items. In the meantime another person decided to join us and asked that we order the sesame beef. That was also a bit of a challenge for the waitress to understand the request. The “Sampler” appetizer arrived. The ribs were dry and tough and the batter on the fantail shrimp was still gooey. We told the waitress about the shrimp and requested replacements. She brings out another person to look at the shrimp that doesn’t really seem to know what to do and is making excuses for the flour used in the batter. She returns some time later with no shrimp and once again gives excuses. Since we did not receive all the food we had ordered we requested an adjustment in the bill. The bill arrives with no adjustment. The second person is also handling the cash register and when asked about the adjustment she said it wasn’t applied yet – they will give $3.00 off. I said I didn’t think that was sufficient and again I heard the excuses about the flour. Then I had to ask about the 3% discount for paying in cash. She was informed that we will not be returning and will post this experience and lack of taking care of the customer.

Ive heard that this place actually has a cook stolen from Szechuan Canton, which really makes sense - the staples (Generals Chicken, Sesame Beef) are uncanny to the aforementioned. Beyond that though, i think the overall Heat levels are a bit off compared to Szechuan Canton, and i always seem to spend more here for less food than i get at Szechuan. Oddly enough, i find myself with more leftovers when i have them delivered, maybe the box you get at home really is a bit larger than however they deal out the goods to in-restaurant eaters. The service is very good here, with even the cook coming to your table should you have very specific requirements for your diet or other limitations. If you dont like here OR Szechuan, then you probably dont like this style of chinese in general.

I normally dont do reviews of restaurants but this mess I ate was worth my comment. First thing: They dont have combination platters for dinner only lunch. Second thing: I ordered two things sweet and sour chicken and beef fried rice and my total was outrageous. Thirdly my order was placed in a box and SAT for over 10 mins after it was placed there because the worker was on the phone (non business related). I can go on and on but to make this short. You should not judge a book by its cover but my food smelled bad and I tried it anyway and it tastes just and it smelled Sweet and sour sauce was cold and raw onion and green pepper was placed right on top of sauce. NO THANKS AGAIN!

Always delicious! Ive been eating here for 3 years and have NEVER been disappointed with either take-out or dining in!!! I used to go to Sze-chaun for almost 30 years until something changed now I only come here! The staff is always pleasant. I do think people (customers) need to be patient sometimes Ive seen people be really rude and disrespectful to them. There are usually only 2 or 3 servers who also take carryouts and cash out guests and they can get very busy. If you want fast Chinese food go to Panda Express but if you want family owned delicious Chinese food then this is the place!!!

I never write reviews, but I feel my experience with Chopstick House deserves a positive review. Delivery time was less than 20 minutes, and the delivery guy was very nice and sweet. Food was outstanding! The General Tsous chicken was crispy with no spice (which I requested), and the fried rice had deep flavors. My crab rangoons were very clearly fresh and hot. Prices are very reasonable, even for a delivery charge and tip. Overall, a true 5 star experience with Chopstick House, especially as a first time customer. Highly recommend them, especially for delivery.

This is our go to place for Chinese food. Very vegetarian friendly. They have different kinds of imitation meet (soy based). some variety other than just tofu and frozen veggies. They have weekday lunch special, very economical and perfect size portions. comes with soup, spring role, rice and gravy. very good. The staff is generally friendly and nice, except that one person LOL, if she is not serving you, you are lucky.. but most of the time I do take outs. so no problem. The owner is really nice.

I have ordered several times, and was happy. I ordered delivery every time, and although the wait time was a little long, my food always gets to me hot and fresh, which is, to me, more important than getting it 5 minutes quicker. Food tasted great. Other than that not much else to say. Im actually trying to order from them right now, but I keep getting a busy signal when I call. I guess they must be pretty popular.

The food was ok, but the sweet and sour pork was a bad quality of meat. The sizes were ok but the price was outrageous. We got 1 cup of soup, an order of sweet and sour pork and a side of pork fried rice along with two pops. The whole meal came to $30. I couldnt believe it. We wont be back. I know cheep er places with better quality food. Only eat here if your looking for a rip off.

Ordered Lemon Chicken first time ever. Looked up recipe on internet. What I got was not the same. Heavily breaded white chicken breasts, cut in big slivers. Very slight lemon flavor but dry. White chicken breast pieces should be browned then added to reduced chicken broth and deluded lemon curd. Should be served with sauce, so you put it over the rice.

Absolutely nastiest Chinese food I ever had. My Almond Boneless Chicken tasted like cardboard and like it was deep fried 5 hours ago. The gravy looked and had the consistency of piss. Furthermore, there wasnt even lettuce or almonds on the chicken, the CHEAP ASSES put peanuts on top. Pitiful, shameful and ridiculous. Never again.

There was no one in here...I ordered steam chicken with sesame sauce on the side...they had to call the owner to see if it was ok to substitute sesame sauce for brown sauce and then charged me a $2 fee....I had to go in the back to ask for my husbands soup that they forgot...first and last time here
