I want to be constructive in my criticism but I just dont care enough and wont be back. (They dont deserve 1 star - I couldnt post this with the stars blank).... There really werent that many people for Lunch, yet, the staff seemed overwhelmed. I looked around and saw decently presented meals on square plates, so, I decided to stay. There was a bit of a weird smell in the place and they use authentic-like blankets for table covers. The menu states that they charge for a second serving of chips & salsa, yet, I never received the first. Not a deal breaker, so, I ordered the Super Burrito with chicken and a soda water w/ lemon. The "soda water" arrived from a Seagrams seltzer bottle and the burrito arrived in aluminum foil on a round plate (starting to dislike this experience) *Strike One*. They dont have Tapatio, however, they offer an in house hot sauce which came in little to-go "cups" (like the ones hot mustard comes in when you order delivery) - well, thats how it was served to me when they realized they forgot to bring it with the plate *Strike Two*. Again, I looked around and saw people with a fairly fine dinning presentation while I got the hurried treatment. I took one bite and not only knew that it wasnt my type of burrito but also that it was overcooked. It was dry like they rely on the Pico De Gallo for the juices (which I asked not to be included) - I asked for extra sour cream on the side and they left it out of the burrito completely. The tortilla was tough and the filling was mostly rice. They use a lime accented grilled chicken and pinto beans. I would expect this kind of burrito from a truck or fast food joint *Strike Three*. I dont normally respond this way but I told the waiter (/Manager?) that I didnt like the burrito, turned down an alternative, paid for my "soda water" and then left. Hands down, the worst Mexican restaurant Ive ever been to and thats compared to Qdoba, Moes, etc..

This is the first authentic, western-style burrito Ive had since I moved from California, and the only one Ive found within 20 miles of the Bedford area. The shop just opened last week. Nice decorations, immaculately clean, what youd expect for a good west-coast taqueria. I ordered a super chile verde burrito to go. By the time I pocketed my change and found a seat to wait, my burrito was on the counter! Foil-wrapped (the only way to takeout burritos), the tortilla was authentically steamed to give it a soft and slightly chewy consistency. The fillings were simple, but tasted very fresh. Good ratio of meat/beans/rice. The pork verde was tender and juicy. I cant wait to come back and try the pastor and carnitas. I only hope they get some additional hot sauce options. The singe offering was a bland pale-orange salsa. I would ask for more cilantro next time (almost nonexistent).

I have been there twice. The first experience was okay -- I ordered a Chicken Super burrito and I thought it was pretty good but today they won me over completely with an unbelievably tasty and extremely generous dish of the Chimichanga. It may have been the best meal of my life. I am going back tomorrow to see if that can happen two days in a row. The warning from another reviewer to watch for Carl the Meter Policeman are true --He lurks around looking for expired meters.

Very average and small portions. Its not bad but you can make this stuff at home very easily. Like I have little to no cooking experience and Ive had orders that look/taste exactly like what I make for myself at home. Same tortilla brand and everything. Also I ordered the flan and they gave be the same cheap store bought flan you can get anywhere. Its like they are shopping at the grocery store down the street and only getting store brand.

OMG! I moved out here from the Southwest and have been in a bit of a taco funk. Everywhere I go to get tacos I get disappointed. Until I found this place. Hands down the only place to go and get decent tacos in Massachusetts. When I first went in I was skeptical and ordered the Tacos al Pastor. The first bite had me hooked, the last had me sad. So I did what any sane person would do and ordered 3 of the Carnitas. I was home....

The food is great! I had two tacos, one with chicken and one with beef with chili verde sauce. The beef with chili verde was superb. It reminded me of some great mexican food I have had in San Diego. If you are looking for fancy Mexican food dont go here, but if you are looking for something authentic and delicious go here. The atmosphere reminded me of being in Costa Rica or Panama in a little mom and pop restaurant.

Another great Maynard restaurant. Great vegetarian options, enormous portions at a comparatively low price. Might be a little difficult to find, but if you follow the signs for the municipal parking at the triangle downtown in Maynard you should be able to find it. (Its out behind the Halfway Cafe) Good atmosphere, with the mariachi music playing, and the cool lights. I recommend this place highly.

This is a great place. Heidi at the bar makes you feel welcome and makes a fantastic Margarita. If you are into trying some great tequilas or mezcals, they make their own sangrita to have with them. If youve never tried sangrita, try it. Theirs is very good. The food is equally good and authentic with a nice selection of appetizers and entrees. My favorite place to each and "sip" in Maynard.

Welcome to 01754 delicious Mexican food! Ive been 3 times and each time it tastes better. All the usual items on the menu, al pastor soft tacos are exceptional. My only quibble are the chips. They are right out of the bag so if you get take-out skip those and buy your own. Oh yeah if you go during the day watch out for the Maynard parking ticket person otherwise you will be $10 lighter.

Pretty good Mexican, especially for the area. Not as good as some of these reviews would say but Id def go back. I do admit I am biased, as I lived in Chicago and the Mexican there is plentiful and redonkulously delicious. One thing Id do love about this place is they have churros for dessert. Thats a definite win.

Always get camarones huatalco with chicken. Fairly spicy dish with all the main food groups included. Authentic tasting. Its too good to put on the tortillas they serve it with, so I generally mix up the chicken/shrimp/veggies in the sauce. Massive platter- can feed two or be dinner two nights in a row!

This place has always had awesome food. As the atmosphere has improved, the portions get smaller and the plates more expensive. They charge extra for EVERYTHING, but still a really great spot to get some food. I usually just get a burrito for take out.

Hard to beat this place. Great, fresh, authentic Mexican - not your "texmex" chain flavors. Ive yet to have anything on the menu that I dont like. It is small and it gets busy - so be patient - you wont regret it. Enjoy the margaritas while you wait.

I had dinner there a couple of months ago. The food was outstanding. Best burrito I had in a long time. My only complaint is that I wasnt able to get fried ice cream (out of ice cream), but that does not take anything from the dining experience.
