CHILDREN NOT WELCOME HERE. Listas Grill in Pasadena, Maryland does not want your children in their restaurant, in fact you might just be asked to leave if you bring one to eat here! Dont believe their lame explanation on high chairs, just look at the reviews from other parents who were treated poorly. Not even joking. If there was less than 1 star it would be more accurate for this rating. Just had the most HORRIBLE experience ever at Listas Grill in Pasadena, Maryland! We tried to have dinner there tonight and were turned away because I have a baby. My husband and I were told by the "owner" Kathryn Evangelista that we needed to go stand outside in the pouring down rain with an infant to wait on a table, although there were several open tables available. When I asked how long the wait time was Kathryn told me it was going to be a long time and we "needed to go outside" (all the outdoor furniture had been taken away due to rain, so there was no where to "go"). After we were told to go outside (no one else was asked to go outside,) I inquired as to what "a long time" would be to which Kathryn replied that we needed to leave and that she did not want our business. I was completely shocked so I asked for the manager and she told us she is the owner and that we needed to "go" because she "did not want us as customers" ---while the whole dining room looked on! You should have been honest Kathy and said that you dont allow children or that you dont have a single high chair in the whole building ! Hmm maybe this needs to be investigated further by the County? Parents can provide their own seat ? Thats classy. Perhaps you could explain why you treat customers who ask a valid and perfectly reasonable question about the wait time so poorly? You have plenty of details to draw from and respond to. Obviously children are not welcome at Listas and the owner has no concern over humiliating her customers in front of others for no good reason! I attempted to call Mrs. Evangelista multiple times after we left to clarify exactly what we did that resulted in being told to leave and was given no response other than being told that she "loves her staff" and then hung up on repeatedly. How professional ! Do not waste your time or your money on this overpriced place. And before you ask my child was asleep at the time, not making a sound ! Shame on you Mrs. Evangelista for treating paying customers this way. I had heard the service was going downhill but this takes the cake. I see other reviews online citing the attitude that exists here when you bring a child. Check it out for yourself readers. No high chairs in the establishement really says a lot about how Listas doesnt want you as a customer if you come with a child. Kathy I dare you to come on here to respond and say this did not happen, because there were many witnesses to how you treated us. Congratulations they are all your customers. My family and I did nothing whatsoever to warrant being told to "get out" other than having a child with us and asking a question.

This evening was our first time dining at Listas and Im big on first impressions. When we walked in we happened to be behind 2 other couples. I noticed the hostess hug them before she sat them. After being seated we overheard a few parties leaving and saying " oh, it was so good"! We immediately were greeted by Kenya, who was happy and smiling the whole time! We ordered the queso-- it was amazing! Our drinks were never empty and our entrees were delicious! Several people came and asked us how our food was, I think they may have been the owners. I love that they have a page in the menu that tells their story! This is not a chain restaurant, which is so refreshing! As someone who worked in the restaurant business for 10+ years, Im very hard to impress, but I was more than impressed with the food, the service, and the cozy atmosphere of the dining room. We even got a hug on the way out! This will be one of many visits to Listas! If your looking for a casual place with excellent food, affordable prices and a staff that makes you feel like family..... this is it!!!

Food is so good and they are always willing to cater to everyones needs. I have actually celebrated two of my birthdays here and my girlfriends last surprise birthday there. They were excited to celebrate the birthday as well or at least it felt that way and were willing to do whatever they could to make it special. They are a fun loving, family operated business that brings every customer into that feeling. The food has a pretty nice range from lumpia to seafood to mexican style dishes to steaks and chicken. They also have an always changing bread pudding that is SOOOOO good. Theyve won a lot of local awards too.

We LOVE Listas Grill!! They have great food and the best staff! We dined there again recently with our friends and their kids (they even offer coloring paper and crayons for small children). This is definitely a great place to eat with your spouses, friends or families! Food is never disappointing, truly good people own it (and successful for 40+ years!), good music and a great staff always genuinely happy to see you.... what more could one ask for?!!! And Listas is a modern American restaurant that serves American Southwest food. Try the steak or seafood dishes--incredible! Highly recommend!

I love this place. I have been to the restaurant twice and both times; they were great experiences. Both times I went; the waiter greeted my girlfriend and I with a shot. Not to mention, he remembered us from our previous visit a few months prior. The entire staff is very friendly. Also, the food was out very quickly. the I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to experience a great environment and food.

Neat, cozy atmosphere. Friendly staff and ownership. Food is always good. Many times I have thought that Listas has an odd mix of flavors in their dishes. All items are good alone, but sometimes I think the flavors of 2 or more items on the same plate dont go well together. That is a nit picky complaint, otherwise its an excellent choice for American/ TexMex cuisine.

Very impressed! I was taken to the locally owned restaurant by some friends who live in the area. What a great little place with happy and helpful staff. Food was very good. I had a Moscow Mule and it was very good in a copper mug.. Really a menu that will make almost anyone happy! Love to find a place that is owned by a local family and not a chain!

Try to visit once a week or at least a couple of times a month, love the food the wait staff has always been great. It does get crowded sometimes, but still love to go there with friends. We usually have a party of 4-6 and have never had a bad experience. Have been there for anniversaries, birthdays and any special occasion this is where we go.

Hands down, Listas is our favorite restaurant in AA county. Fun decor, amazing staff, super clean, and the food is excellent! They serve American and Southwest food (not Mexican unless its a weekly special), and theres always something new and interesting in the specials. Homemade margaritas and sangrias are also our favorites.
