The Groupon was for a pitcher of beer, an appetizer, and two entrees. Score! Sounds great! I was greeted not by the staff, but by the smell of cleaning chemicals wafting through the small environment. Yuck! Not very appetizing. Our waitress was warm and welcoming. She had a good energy. We ordered the spinach dip as an appetizer, crab legs and onion rings and the tilapia fish sandwich with seasoned fries for our entrees. But the manager notified the waitress that the crab legs dont come with a side. But its fine, Ill get something else. I re-ordered the philly chicken sandwich. The spinach dip had a funny yellow tint and was lukewarm. The top layer had already begun to scale over like sitting gravy. It was bleh with no flavor...we couldnt even eat it. We did politely ask for the cheese dip instead but the taste was so artificial, so we didnt eat that either..it just felt like we would get sick if we kept eating. We got our food. My philly was more cheese than anything, but when I did find the chicken, it was so white due to the lack of ANY seasoning. The peppers werent even grilled! You could tell they just sat in oil for a minute and they threw it on the sandwich. Gross, ate two bites and pushed it away. But the seasoned fries were good. My friend said the fish sandwich had no seasoning...oh, except the faint flavor of Old Bay seasoning...yum, an old bay sandwich. No salt, pepper, garlic, onion? He received the wrong side item but didnt say anything. We were ready to leave...we get the check...we receive a 18% service charge..I check the website on my phone, there is only supposed to be a 18% charge for parties 5 or more or $150.00 or more. I walk to the bar to tell my waitress who is helping the bartender. The bartender tells me that its not for gratuity, its a service charge for using the Groupon. We get charged for spending $20.00 on a coupon to support your business? She even gave me the excuse that it Groupon was supposed to have the charge on there….really?! She had to take it off. I was appalled, being a waitress in the past, I know a scam when I see one...literally see one, as the bartender was whispering to our waitress about adding the 18% charge to bump us up to $40.00 in PLAIN VIEW before she even brought the bill over. That way they could get their tip and a charge huh? Gross. I left disgusted with the service from the rude bartender, and the only time the manager was in sight was to tell our waitress that I couldnt have a side item. Our waitress, she was wonderful and new, she really tried to make it right by apologizing to us for that service. She knew what just happened…but we deserved an apology from the bartender who stormed away or the manager. Not the person who was nice the entire evening. I mean, we were the only two people in there who weren’t regulars (which were only about 7 people). We spent more on our pitcher of beer than on our food entrees and appetizer. Gimme a break! I say all of this to help you not waste your money. Times are toooooo hard for that right now. Not to be "mean" to the owners and workers. I really hope that they take this review seriously, and not just add four reviews that gave five stars...all on the same day! [See below August 11th!]. This was one of the worst experiences I have had a bar and grill which is attached to a gas station no less. Either shape up and getter better menu items, nicer staff (minus our waitress), change the horrid R&B/Pop radio music at a SPORTS bar, or get better at hiding all of the flaws. It seems all of the money went to the decorating - kudos on that!

My friends and I went there last night and the service was absolutely horrible. The first (out of three) server that came by was fine, nice, upbeat, knew what she was doing. She got our drink orders. Then another server came by and admitted it was her first day so she didnt know the menu. We gave her some slack and helped her out, but she didnt write anything down and she didnt even take my order..she walked away after taking my 3 friends orders. A few minutes later, she came back with yet another server who said she was training the newbie yet she hadnt been there in 4 months...umm, ok. We asked for our food and they brought it out one by one. One of our party got her food a good half hour before the last person got theirs...which is horrible. My food was horrible..Id asked for a swiss mushroom burger, which you really shouldnt be able to mess up on. They overcooked the burger and the mushrooms were cold and crunchy...as if from a can and old. I had a baked potato on the side and specifically said only sour cream and butter and they put everything on it. I have them take away the burger and tell them dont make another one, but try for the potato..but they take so long in making the second, I have to get it in a to go box. It still has everything on it when I asked for sour cream and butter only...yet this time it was on the side, so I just took those containers out and gave them back to the server. They tried to overcharge us on the bill, they took off my burger but tried to charge me twice the baked potatoes and charged an extra $3 for the shrimp in my friends shrimp alfredo..when the menu said the shrimp alfredo was $10 and no extra charge for shrimp. They come back with a revised check, having taken off all my food, even 2 of my drinks, and give us a $15 off coupon that was marked as issued the day before. We all decide we arent ever going back there and since no where on the coupon it says we cant use it that day, plus its supposedly been issued the previous day, we try to use it...they claim we cant. I have never in my life received such poor service anywhere..even street vendors. Do not go to this place unless youre sticking with the drinks.

Im a former employee of this place. Granted I only worked there 2 days, but when I tell you its the worst managed establishment Ive ever encountered! First they dont tell you if you are a W-4 employee or a Independent Contractor...now yes I should have asked during the joke of a interview with supposed "Chef". When I asked when was payroll done and the frequency of pay I was told every two weeks but they dont take out taxes, sounds like your a Independent Contractor to me, but no paperwork to that effect was ever discussed or filled out! Now on to the BOH (the kitchen), one of the dirtest, filthest places Ive ever seen! They didnt have all the ingredients and/or items to make the food orders from their menu. I asked Chef Mike "what if the customer asks wheres the missing item from their order?" Well his response was "no one has ever asked" wow great response. Raw and cooked food was not being stored properly in the coolers and freezers, its a wonder no one ever got sick. Sorry for the long drawn out review but I would definitely not recommended this place as a matter of fact I will be reporting them to the IRS, Labor Board and the Gwinnett county health department.
