Extremely disappointed!!! Took my father out for his birthday along with a few friends thinking from some of the reviews it would be a great experience – Boy was I disappointed!!! – We got a late start because of a local accident that blocked traffic but arrived in time for lunch 3:00 although the waitress almost insisted we pay for dinner. From the start I knew we were in trouble when I had to hunt for clean plates and utensils amongst what was put out for patrons. Started with the shrimp and sushi, few shrimp spread across the frozen tundra of ice but managed to grab a few and the sushi looked good and was plentiful as well as wasabi and pickled ginger. The shrimp were ok but not very fresh and the cocktail sauce watered down, the sushi looked good but you could tell it wasn’t the freshest ingredients, the wasabi was not hot I could have eaten it by the spoonful; the winner was the pickled ginger of all the items so far. My next stop is usually finger foods I picked up some teriyaki chicken, an egg roll, and was looking for spare ribs but none were found the waitress mumbled something before she went it the opposite direction so I just forgot about it and went for the boneless rib pieces. The chicken was dry and was missing the teriyaki, I knew I was in trouble when I bit into the egg roll and grease was dripping on my chin and almost broke a tooth on the boneless rib pieces when I tried to eat them. Ok next on my agenda was some wonton soup after fishing out a clean cup from the pile of dirty cups left for the patrons, the wontons were discolored but eatable finally something I could eat! It was at this time our waitress brought over the check and growled when we asked for more hot tea. My next stop was to sample some of the mail dishes I like to put fried rice in the center of my dish and try a few things around it. The fried rice was dry and stuck to the bottom of the pan but I managed to put a spoonful on my plate along with peppered steak, generals chicken, bourbon chicken. The peppered steak was beef in brown gravy along with some worse for wear onions and peppers, generals chicken waved the white flag and gave up and the closest thing the bourbon chicken ever got to a bottle of bourbon was the bottle sitting next to the pot. At this time one of my friends found the spare ribs and returned to the table with the waitress and a male worker yelling at her the ribs were only for dinner I thought they were going to take it out of her mouth and at this time she started to clear our table in hopes we would leave and when we didn’t started to clean the area we were sitting from top to bottom including taking the tables and seats apart and wiping walls and picture frames (I wished she was in charge of cleaning plates and utensils). I personally had given up hope of finding anything truly eatable and decided to call it a day and head to the ice cream section for desert when I arrived back to the table with my desert the rest of my group thought it was a good idea till they got there and found someone had shut down the section to freshen it up for 20 minutes, we waited just for spite at this point. The waitress was rude and never once refilled any of our drinks and growled when we asked for a second pot of hot tea and last night I started with gastronomical distress which I still have 24 hours afterwards. People RUN I don’t care if you have a coupon or even if the dinner was free, I for one would never go back even for free!!!

First time: Food is surprisingly done "correctly", taste is good on everything I had. And I do eat the things ppl dont know what it is. Sushi rolls are made decently well. But anything super raw like oysters or shrimp you should go elsewhere. (Just to be safe)The desserts are ify, I believe they are mostly canned fruits, or sit there all day until you eat them. There must be a mass small cube coffee cake place that you can order them in a box and serve, because I see them at every Chinese buffet, but not in actual China. Ice cream looked confusing flavors and pretty frozen, so I passed. There was some apple pie, maybe this changes by seasons? The staff seem nice and happy to see returning customers. English isnt their strong suit, but you get that authentic Chinese feeling when they start yelling at each other, then smile like they love each other dearly. Price is good, and I now know why. If you set yourself above the common ppl in Vero,.... then this is not your kinda place. One lady had her bunny slippers on. Am not knocking Zero Beach, but holes in a T-shirt with under boob hanging out only looks good on spring break girls in college. Not "Billy-Bob the Village Turd" with his belly hanging out. I think thats why the lights are dimmed low. The tan tile floor seems dirty, or maybe the color of dirt? I guess it used to be a steak house before? So maybe painting the wood a lighter color or hiding the fireplace is not really working either. The Mongolian BBQ/sushi guy was talking to himself in a language I never heard. Most likely he was Spanish or Native American? (And I know Asian languages and that wasnt one of them) All and All... Go for yourself and find out if its right for you. Most of the surrounding people seemed satisfied and happy to eat as much as they could. The owners just need to paint and put up some LED lights!

Before even entering we were very favorably impressed by the offer of a steak at no extra charge with any dinner, a most generous offer. That good reaction made the dimly lighted, not-so-attractive interior more palatable. We were not greeted but merely asked, "How many?" by an unsmiling hostess whose only other words were, "What to drink?". Not the best introduction to a totally new place. My main reason for coming was the sushi. Since this was lunchtime perhaps the lack of any sushi and only a mediocre selection of sashimi was understandable. Therefore I decided to try the rest of the buffet. What I found was quite good, starting with the hot and sour soup, nice and thick but a bit mild and lacking much sour, but still good. I also tried the dim sum---again not a great variety, but well prepared and attractive. In fact almost all the items on the tables were attractively presented, if not identified very well, if at all, The pork rib was excellent: well seasoned and done to a crispy, succulent turn. My companion loved the mushrooms, broccoli and the dim sum. We both tried the dishes with different vegetables and "crab", and found them flavorful. The crowd for a Monday afternoon was surprisingly large and seemed well satisfied. The staff could use some training in courtesy: I had to ask two different waitresses for chopsticks before I received them; one cut in front of me, cutting me off, without excusing herself; and I never saw a smile or heard a friendly tone from any staff member. The place is great for the food, the main reason for a restaurant to exist, but ambiance counts for a lot as well. Id give it a B-.
