This is the worst hibachi place Ive ever had with the best tasting chicken. We ordered 2 steak and chicken dinners, a side of fried rice, and the soft shell crab appetizer. I ordered a pick up order, and the total was $56. When I picked it up, it all fit in one small plastic bag, so I checked it out in my truck before pulling out. I realized there wasnt any soup or salads in the bag, so I went back in. I was told that the soups and salad are only included if you dine in. Wasnt printed on the menu that I ordered from, but whatever. I said I needed 1 soup and 1 salad. 10 minutes and $5 more dollars later, I have the soup and salad. I get home, and this is what we have: "miso soup" that tastes like salt and a bullion cube and looks like Coke with backwash floating in it. A "salad" that was lettuce and the worst sauce Ive ever had. Tasted like onions, ginger, and oil. The legs on the crab tasted fine; the body, however, made me get up, spit out all I could, go brush my teeth, rinse with mouthwash, and regret burping for 2 hours. It was a combination of being under cooked and (I think) being past its expiration date. The dinner was mixed bag. The portions were smaller than most other hibachi places, the steak had no flavor but was cooked exactly as ordered, one dinner didnt have veggies for some reason, and the chicken was seriously the best hibachi chicken Ive ever tasted. Amazing flavor. Wont be going back.

Not that great anymore, the cook we got this time wasnt good at what he doing, he keeps saying sorry because he cant do all the strick fine idc if hes dropped the big mixing spoon, or acccidently dropped the eggs, also cant fire up the vocanal onion. Okey, fine I watch it all the time so its okey. BUT why would I pay extra for that and also the food is sucks. And he tried to be nice sharing the rices with a girl that sat there with her bf that werent order anything. So 3 of us dont get enough rices. And the chicken is too sweet, the vegetables in rice didnt taste anything. I was pissed. I dont mind to pay but this young cooker just get on my nerves. The waitress come by and ask those couples if they want to check out and ask if we need water . So as a very regular customer I asked her if the young cook was new she said no hes here a while and if I dont like him then request the other cook. No sorry or anything then move on to other tables. Leaved me , my mom, my sjs sat there nobody bring us our check. I have to tell my sister come get one of them so we can check out. The guys come give my checks so we can pay. So I pay 80+ and l give them $2 tips in cards and tips the dude that bring my bills $10 in cash . I always live this places but not anymore

This restaurant speaks quality the chef my family and I had was fabulous he did so well I was so impressed by the way he cooked our meal.. yes the decor isnt the best but the quality and care the staff were quick with getting refills on drinks and with the chef he was quick to complete cooking and even checked to make sure our orders were correct the sushi was amazing and it was made quick and brought out. The chef had one heck of a sense of humor and made watching him cook the meal fun. It is very authentic and I enjoyed it very much the food was splendid and worth what we paid for it.. one thing that disappointed me was they only had one of the 4 or 5 desert choices available for purchase but that was the only issue I had... the staff were so helpful and friendly... i dont suggest this restraunt for diabetics because alot of the sauces are sweet.. hope this is a help

Good food, great fresh sushi. As for the reviewer that said you might as well go to Publix-gross. Kobes is made fresh as you are sitting there and is not cold and stuck to a plastic package. I would have given them 5 stars, but I do agree with another reviewer that their decor leaves a lot to be desired and some major renovations are in order, esp for what they charge for a meal. Dont look up at the ceiling, lol. Dress is casual, jeans and a nice polo/blouse is appropriate. A little more expensive than I want to spend nightly, but once a week dinner is not out of the question here.

Went there tonight to eat some of the "best sushi ever".... VERY VERY VERY BAD SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ive been coming here for years, and I will NEVER come back again. I made a to-go order and stood there for OVER half an hour waiting. Not one person greeted me or made the effort to speak to me. One server had her child running around in there with no shoes on. THE WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER GOTTEN. 2 other people had walked in the same time as me to make a to-go order and THEY ended up leaving too!!!!!!! I will ALWAYS tell people to NEVER go to Kobe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I give it two stars for the attentive waitress. The food and decor was both subpar. I ordered hibachi steak and it was well-done when I ordered it medium. Rice was too salty. Usually for hibachi, Japanese restaurants give you a salad but this restaurant did not. The cost for the hibachi steak was 17.95. For the money paid, there are better quality Japanese restaurants in town.

What a great find for great food in PCB! Have been to my share of hibachi restaurants and this is one worthy of a visit. Ya, the decor is a little rough around the edges but it arguably has its own unique charm of which is ultimately eclipsed by truly good food and exceptional service at a very reasonable price. Fun for the whole family that promises not to disappoint.

The chef did the best he could but seriously inexperienced and everything tastes the same and slightly burned and very salty. And worse, the place was dirty, sticky and hot. I had to go outside to catch my breath. This was a special outing and my daughters and grandson enjoyed themselves but we wont be returning. $122 later and we never got desert, just the check.

We went to have the hibachi dinner and were expecting something close to Benihana...which I suppose it was. However, this place is very worn and the dipping sauces were not nearly as good. Our hibachi steak (actually two thin steaks) was overcooked (requested medium rare). The restroom was not very clean. On the plus side, all meals are served

We read the description and decided to try it out. The decor kinda made us wonder, but once our food arrived all doubts we gone. The sushi was very flavorful and imaginative. My son had the sesame chicken and the chicken was fresh fried tempura style which was a wonderful change. We will definitely be back on our next trip!

A treat near Gulf Coast and FSU-PC. The staff are Pacific Islanders---not Japanese---but pleasant and generally efficient. My choice is usually sashimi, plus a few odds and ends of appetizers or a shared main dish and, with the single exception of a bland soup, all have been tasty. Its not a place to go in evening clothes.
