My experience with this restaurant started out as something really awesome and then ended up being an awful experience. I booked this restaurant as the venue for my wedding reception. I worked with the owner who was at first so accommodating and wonderful. She explained everything that she would do to the room to dress it and said that I wouldn’t recognize it at all. But as the saying goes once they get your money that’s it. The day before the reception she demanded a couple of hundred dollars from my parents because she said she miscalculated the amount of sweets for the guests. I find this hard to believe considering she calculated everything in front of us and we paid for everything up front and left a very generous tip beforehand. Moving on to the day of the reception this was a nightmare. It was agreed that we can have the place till 5pm. The owner began telling my DJ to cut the music off at 4pm. There were arrangements made to make sure we (Bride and Groom) to have a table to eat on once the food was ready. When that time came her and her staff walked away and did not want to help us. We stood there for I don’t know how long trying to chase her down to get a table to eat on and once they did bring it was just a regular table and our decorations were not even on the table. As far as the decorations go she sold us this grand idea of how she was going to decorate and when I saw the finished product it was nothing like she said it was crappy. She said there would be LED lights all along the wall there was none of that. If I had not brought in my own decorations to make it look more presentable that place would have literally looked like crap. Furthermore the food was not all that fantastic. The owner promised there would be glasses with water at each table well there was none the whole time. We has somebody run out and get bottles of water for everyone. How embarrassing was that! The owner was not willing to do anything at all she stood there with a grumpy look on her face the whole time. Lets put they cherry on top of this story now. All of sudden she starts going around to everyone in my wedding including me the BRIDE and starts asking for 250 dollars. When I asked her why, she just walked away. She was very nasty towards our DJ, guests and bartender. I will be making sure to let everyone I can know to not hire this scam artist for anything and furthermore don’t eat at her restaurant cause she is a very rude person and the food was not that great. There is a reason why there are so many negative reviews on here. I can unfortunately attest to that now.

Had a 50% off Groupon, combined w/15% off Discover and another 5% off Chase Visa so I figured Id take a flyer on Indian Chillies. Preliminaries: I reserved a table via OpenTable. When I got there, they welcomed me by name which I thought was a nice touch. They have a vegetarian section of the menu and several of the dishes there are Vegan w/o modification. Ordered Baingan Bharta and Daal Tadka. The Daal was ok, nothing to write home about. The Baingan Bharta (Eggplant w/onions and spicy sauce) was VERY good. Ive never had that dish previously so its tough for me to compare to other restaurants. That being said, it had a nice kick and tasted quite good. Id definitely eat that again. My waitress was very nice and pleasant (lots of bad reviews about customer service on yelp for the Pembroke site, but that wasnt the case for me at the Lauderhill site). My only gripe overall is it took almost an hour to get served and the place wasnt full. Pretty happy overall.

I went in on a Friday night (Prime time). The restaurant here before was called Bombay Grill. Nice, delicious, plentiful buffet. This was a much smaller buffet. The fried items were WAY too salty. Most of the food was either room temperature or nearing cool (when it should have been close to hot). A few of the tables that were occupied were apparently family members or part owners. Their toddlers were running around screaming, chasing each other. One of them came over to my table and pulled my napkin out of my lap TWICE. Despite them not being very busy I had 3 employees walk by my table about 7 times total without looking down to see that I had been out of Diet Coke forever and I was now drinking the water. No one checked in on me...nothing. Then I get the bill and it is $18.95. Laughably over priced for such mediocre food and terrible ambiance. If this is a typical Friday night I will be watching for that space to be vacant, AGAIN

Ive been to Indian restaurants all over the world, and this is the one I keep coming back to, time and again. The buffet is plentiful and the offerings are always fresh, steaming, and utterly mouthwatering! From crusty samosas and yogurt chicken to the very best butter chicken ever, we have never been disappointed. The naan is always tender and delicious. Try the garlic naan (not in the buffet, but worth the extra expense)! We always feel like family when we dine at Indian chillies. Owner Jasmine and our favorite waitress Adriana always make us feel welcome and appreciated. We love it so much, we had our wedding reception there! Its always a treat to come here. They specialize in catering, but I urge you to make the effort and find this hidden gem! Youll come back again and again.

I do not feel compelled to write reviews often but I will tonight. I LOVE Indian food and Ive gone to most of the restaurants in this area. This is by far the worst. The food was okay at best (we did the buffet) but the chief complaint I have is the service. Took 10 minutes to be seated on an not busy night with plenty of open tables and even longer for someone to come and take our drink orders. Those waters never came- we got our food and were halfway done before we finally spotted another waitress to ask for drinks. We finally got our waters and towards the end of dinner, the waitress asked if I wanted a refill since my glass had been empty for 20 minutes. I said yes but it never came. I will never come back here- there are plenty of better spots to get Indian in Broward.

Let me start by saying, I LOVE Indian food and was excited to come here my first time. BUT If you are looking for HORRIBLE service and an even WORSE manager and staff go to Indian Chillies. I have been here twice in a 2 year time period hoping that my second time was going to be different since its been a while.....YEAH RIGHT! it was worse than before. Now I wont say the food was bad because it was the ONLY thing that was good. They had an issue with our GROUPON, were incredibly rude, they lied to us and were racist, among other things. The food is decent but not good enough to make the trip. You can get better food and better service someplace else. DO NOT COME HERE TO EAT!
