I went to this restaurant with my family for my sister-in-laws birthday celebration. I have never felt so ignored in my life! And it wasnt just me. To start, I dont drink. Everyone else at the table was having wine and I specified that I wouldnt be drinking wine. I was never asked if I wanted anything else to drink, do I had to drink water the entire time. Further more, my mother is a diabetic and needs to eat within a certain length of time after injecting herself with insulin. It took so long to get bread sticks that she had to ask for them to avoid a potential hypoglycemic emergency. Once we finally had someone come to take our orders, she was trying way too hard to impress. The only reason we stayed to eat was hunger and the significant inconvenience of relocating to another restaurant, especially with diabetics on a ticking clock. After the meal and anxious to leave, the waitress tried to sell us on dessert (as if). It took 20 minutes to pay the bill. I love my family, but I will not be eating at Pinocchios ever again. My sister-in-law and brother mentioned that they had a terrible experience that was actually worse than this one the last time they were there and would not be returning either. I am fairly certain that the rest of my family there, a party of nine total, will likely never return. My brother tells me that he complained to the restaurant last time, was promised compensation, and never received it. Ultimately, they punished themselves. My father intended to be gracious to the waitress with a tip, but saw that gratuity was already added the bill. The gratuity was about half of what he normally would have left. Pinocchios shorted their waitress out of a good tip and shorted themselves out of my familys future business.

I ordered Pinocchios for my office yesterday for lunch. We ordered 2 calzones, both came with a side salad. I started to eat my salad, and I noticed that something was in my salad that did not belong there. It turns out, that there was in fact a piece of chocolate cake in my salad. I was able to pick around it and throw it away, but I figured that I would call Pinocchios and let them know what was going on. I did not expect a refund, I just thought that if I was the manager, I would like to know how my store was doing. I called last night and asked for the manager. A man by the name of Rod claimed that he was in fact the store manager. I let him know what I had found in my salad. His response to my situation was that they cut their lettuce and their cakes on the same cutting board, and that they do their best to make sure that the knives are clean. Rod did not apologize for the inconvenience, nor did he seem surprised that this had happened. He did not ask for my contact information, but he did tell me that I could call back in the morning and he would deal with my situation then. I was very shocked that the manager did not ask for my contact information, but instead he made it my job to call them back to resolve this. He made it seem like this was not a big deal, and that this happened all the time. I was too afraid to eat my calzone, because I was not sure what else I would find that did not belong there. Chocolate cake does not belong in salad, and cross-contamination is not acceptable. I love the food and the atmosphere that Pinocchios has to offer. I will NOT be returning to this location, because of the way the manager treated me.

My wife and I were pleasantly surprised! We had been in a couple of times before and the food was nothing to write (home) about but this time was VASTLY different. We started with the asparagus and ravioli apps, both of which were outstanding. The sauces were out-of-this-world delicious, one vinegar-based and the other a cream sauce. Then came the Caesar salads and they were great as well. The house-made dressing tasted amazing. For entrees, I had the Veal 508 (not sure what the "508" is but, hey, when in Rome...) and my wife had the Veal parm. Again, both dishes were stupendous. Everything was cooked and seasoned beautifully. One thing: the portions are very generous on the entrees so if you leave hungry, its your own fault. Luana was our server and she was awesome. Being from Italy herself, she is right at home in this environment and has been known to rattle off in Italian if you ask. Overall, very nice dining experience and we will be back!

Called ahead to find out how late they are open. Was told 9:30. Picked up friends at the airport who are first time visitors to colorado and went to the Pinocchios on Ken Pratt. Seven of us arrived at 9:00. Guy at the front desk made faces and his tone of voice in telling others that we needed to be seated clearly indicated irritation. I asked if there was a problem in seating us. A waitress charges in saying in a very nasty tone that we needed to be aware that they close at 9:30. Did I mention there were 7 of us prepared to eat and drink. We had 2 kids with us so we werent going to hang out all night. Guess they didnt need the $300-400 sale that night. We left telling the waitress we would take our business elsewhere. A waiter named Justice was yelling at us from the door how to spell his name in this review. Hope we spelled it right, JUSTIN

I have eaten at Pinocchios several times in the past and enjoyed the food and service however, today we waited an hour and twenty minutes for 2 salads with chicken, lasagne and 3 orders of eggs. We saw numerous orders come out before ours, we were offered no explanation. Finally, after an hour, we asked where our food was we were told the head chef had walked out, but our order was next to be cooked... The thing that bothers me is I was told that the owner was there and whoever that person is did NOT come to the table to explain OR to apologize or discount our meal. Meanwhile I was also told that the manager was covering doing the cooking so was unable to do any customer relations. So owner, whoever you are, I dont know why your chef quit. But if you ignored his/her needs like you did those of your customers today I get it.

I go to this restaurant frequently for business luncheons. Although it is not conveniently located for me from my home, I go out of my way to bring friends and family here evenings and weekends. Many of my collegues report doing the same. The food is always fresh and pleasantly presented. The salads are crisp and cool and the marinara is made on site, as are the salad dressings. The staff is quiet and unobtrusive, but very pleasant. The atmosphere is lightly romantic, but bright and fresh as well. And after dinner there are delicious freshly made deserts. The biggest disappointment I have experienced there is having to change my dessert order at lunch because my first choice at an early lunch was still "too warm to serve." No matter, I had that one the next time I returned.
