I came in there tonight with my 3 kids and I must say I have never been so humiliated in my life. First of all, when we came in the hostess asked us if we had reservations and said that since we didnt, all they had available was two "community tables". Weird since there were plenty of tables open but whatever. The bus boy brought us bread and water and our sever came by and asked us if we wanted anything else to drink. He then proceeded to go over to the hostess and whisper something to her and they both turned and stared at us like we didnt belong there or something. After being our drinks, he came by in a rush to say that he may or may not be our server depending on when the person we were waiting on gets there. While we waited about a half hour for my husband to join us, he never once came back by and checked on us or anything. In typical toddler fashion, my one year old was getting restless and was talking loudly. She was not screaming or out of control. When I noticed that she was getting restless, I decided to order her dinner while we were still waiting for my husband. However, our server was no where to be found and no one seemed too interested in helping us. The next thing I know, some man comes up to our table, does not introduce himself or anything and proceeds to tell me that "she is bothering people". I would have expected someone who is "management" material would have introduced himself and asked if there was anything he do for us since it was obvious that my daughter was upset. Because of the way I was confronted, I told him we would just leave. His words exactly were "you dont have to leave if you can get her to be quiet". What kind of so called "professional" speaks to a customer like that? How about having some compassion for a mom who was clearly a little overwhelmed with a hungry toddler? I completely understand that people do not want to hear a crying baby but is this the proper way to handle a situation like this? I picked my kids up and left in tears as it was absolutely humiliating. I hope that you are able to teach your staff some compassion and tact. I guarantee if this behavior continues your establishment will not be in business for very long. I also hope that parents with young children read this and thing twice before coming to eat here.

Farro Restaurant features cuisine from the Tuscany region of Italy. The word "Farro" refers to one of the first grains that were grown thousands of years ago. This grain is more nutritious and tasty than the "high yield" crops traditionally grown in America. Many of the dishes feature Farro, including the flatbread which is served with meals. I liked the soup and signature salad; both were quite different than anything Id ever had in an Italian restaurant. The dining room is casual. Theres a small bar with the ubiquitous flat-panel TV. I really enjoyed this place and look forward to going back.

I dont know what the three star reviewers are talking about below. They are off their rocker to say the location, free bread were bad?!?! And to the guy questioning legitimacy of being Italian food is just an ass hat. This place is one of the best privately owned Italian restaurants Ive ever been to. The food is delish! The staff is so friendly and caring. I really only write bad reviews but Ive been to this location about five times and thought it finally deserves a fitting review. I will damn sure come back again and again. Thank you Farros, youve earned it.

This place is fantastic. Honestly the food is so good. The decor is off, the free bread is wonderful but a bad idea. (good free bread means people wont order apps.). The location is terrible. A very good Italian restaurant in a strip mall is not usually a successful combination. Wife just read this and said it wasnt very positive review. Shes right. I love this place and Im being critical because crappy places like there fricke Olive Garden have a wait on Saturday nights! Bottom line is the food is great! Go and enjoy :-)

Great food, great service. Very friendly staff, and since I started going regularly Ive never had a meal that wasnt great and didnt come out piping hot. The atmosphere has improved quite a bit lately too; new flooring, more consistent music... Most everything is very good, but the specials at the restaurant are consistently amazing. More expensive than standard menu items, but worth every penny. Also, try the meatloaf. Doesnt sound Italian, but its quite the surprise and is always great!

Absolutely spectacular food. I came with a large group, and we exchanged tastes of five or six dishes. All were memorable. The white bean soup would have been worth the trip by itself. You can tell that the chef knows exactly what hes doing and takes pride in doing it well. We came somewhat late on a Sunday evening. The bread was fresh and delicious, the dipping sauce heavenly. The creamy three cheese polenta..... This is a restaurant that I intend to visit every time I come to Denver.

Waited a while to be served. My chicken marsala was quite small compared to other entrees coming out. All in all Im leaving this restaurant still hungry and not impressed what so ever. Maybe Ill give it a shot in the future but the service and food was nothing to brag about. Mind you I grew up in an Italian household in a small italian neighborhood and I have also eaten my way through Italy. So maybe I know a little but Im just a bitter reviewer so dont take my word for it ;)

This is place is cozy and sophisticated. The food is delicious, I have yet to have anything I dont love. And they give you as much bread and yummy dipping oil to stuff your face with. I love bread. :) The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the chef takes the time to check in on you to make sure you loved the food. Its great, and I love that its tucked right here in the burbs! Best neighborhood restaurant for sure!

Farros is not a good Italian restaurant. I live nearby and if it was even half way decent Id eat there for convenience sake; but it is not even close to being legit Italian food. The menu promises but does not deliver. The pizza crust was undercooked and the toppings were bland. The pasta was over cooked and topped with a tasteless sauce. Im not a fan of Macaroni Grill but even it is better than Farros.

Awesome Italian Restaurant. Tasty food, especially the chicken parmesan . I took three dates here. One stood me up. One broke up with afterwords. One went on to marry me. We got married down the street. Last week we got a dog named Spot (even though he doesnt have any spots). He doesnt bark much. In conclusion... Farro is a great restaurant and Spot is a good name for a dog.
