Great stuff! Been here 3ish times, and each time Ive been happy with the food. Service can vary a bit. Best chips and guac Ive had in the area, and guac varations offer fun riffs on a classic. Love the shrimp ceviche app - aguadolce, I believe? The ahi could stand to be a brighter, more brilliant ruby, but that can go up and down. Ive had all the seafood tacos as well as the vegetarian a few times, and all were exceptional. The vegetarian rotates, too, which is nice. Really, only complaints are - check your menus! Some of them have several samples of listed items, stuck to the menu - print some new ones, please!! Also, if youre a server, and your (lets be honest) rather tatty friends feel like stopping by and chatting with you, please DO SO AWAY FROM YOUR SECTION. We were seated at the outdoor countertop in the right corner, and the server had a lengthy convo with her unwashed amigos that were leaning over the railing, playing with someones future drinking cup. In addition to disrupting our meal, Im sure the next patron will be super excited to learn that an employees friends hands have been inside their water cup. Other than that servers lack of decorum, great place!

Really great street tacos. The tortillas are a little small, but they pack them with tons of delicious meat and filling. Only thing we disliked was the chips and salsa: the seasoning on the chips is bland and tastes awful according to the concensus of our group. You also only get a tiny bowl of chips with the order of the chips and salsa. Our waitress asked if we wanted more once we finishedthe handful of chips and we happily accepted twice. We were happy until we saw at the check that we were charged each time she brought more out. Was it a huge amount of money? No. But it certainly would have been nice to at least mention that more chips didnt come with your order, especially since you barely get any to start with! OK so rant over there. Moral of the story is Id absolutely recommend this place if you are looking for some delicious tacos. If the management can change the seasoning on the chips and actually give enough chips out to eat the salsa that comes with it, then this place will easily be 5 stars!

OK, the OMFG taco sounds great with sushi grade tuna however presentation was a bit odd on lettuce wrap and taste was not quite what I Would expect. The best tacos where the beef and chicken. These were excellent however I agree with other reviews, were a bit small. But completely loaded. I was not unhappy with the cost.they made a quesadilla for my son. Great chips - the amount of guacamole is smallish but this is no different from any other restaurant. I will have to say that the Marguerite it was tiny. Completely not what I expected and I do agree with other reviews that this should be skipped. Not worth the price. Its like a tall shot glass. For the Delmar taco I expected grilled fish with a lot of seasoning however it was fried and fairly bland. Cool vibe and great location. Ill probably come back and stick with the beef and chicken tacos. They also do you have taco Tuesday now with two dollar tacos.

So this is Mexican food? OooKkk. Hate to burst your bubble Denver but this foo foo overpriced pretty bites in no way resembles food from South of the border. Not in any way, not in seasoning, presentation, ingredients or flavors. Besides all that it was not bad not good and certainly overpriced. But what do I know about real authentic and good Mexican food Im from Southern California. San Juan Capistrano. Yall stick to your Tex Mex and Chilis. I thought Denverites would know good Mexican, even Zagat rated food. Nah, just another one of those oh-were -kinda- hippies -and -funky -cool -local -we -do -it -our -own -special - fusion -way -and- charge -too -much -for -it .

Yes the tacos are very tasty. But overall I left feeling messy and gouged. The tacos are way too messy than they need to be. A small but heaping pile of food on a tortilla the same size. Fold it and bite and everything squeezes out of every possible way and drops all over your hands and plate. Its ok if tacos are a bit messy, sure. But this was just silly. Why not have tortillas slightly larger, so they can accommodate the fillings? Secondly, I felt it was overpriced. My son and I stopped in for a few tacos and ended up dropping 40 bucks (with a margarita and soda). Sodas are $3, which just seems like a bit too much for such a casual place. I wouldnt go back.

Let me start off by saying that the food here is really good. Now the bad...Keep in mind that the restaurant was maybe half full... 15 minutes to get one beer brought to the table. It then took 45 minutes to get our tacos after ordering. On top of this, we had to order cups of ice to cool our waters as the pitcher had been sitting in the sun for who knows how long. What was supposed to be a quick lunch (street tacos cant take that long, right?) turned into a hour and forty five minute DMV-esque caper. For those of you doing the math, please add another 15 minutes to receive our tab and another 30 minutes to eat.

Dos Santos is an excellent taqueria choice. My cousin and I dined on the patio, which faces 17th street. Our waitress was great, and very attentive. We tried several tacos, and my fave is the steak taco. I recommend the chips and salsa as well as the Eskites (Mexican style corn) as an app. The cocktails are reasonably priced, and made just right for a zing. While waiting for our 2nd round of tacos (sheepish grin) our waitress compd us with a desert of flan for our wait, which I hadnt even noticed. Highly recommended for date night to share tacos, or just a night out with family and friends.

I bet locals try to keep this place to themselves. The modern industrial decor, the interesting and haute-ish take on the humble taco, the friendly and just legitimately nice staff...I think the regulars dont want to see this place any more crowded than it already is. Try the (sushi grade) tuna taco or the shrimp Del Mar. Maybe try the whole menu (its a bit limited, but everything is carefully considered and prepared). Probably absolutely fine for kids, but maybe just take a date and enjoy the vibe this place gives off. A little on the pricey side, but well worth the quality and experience.

Given Denver is the Mecca of tacos, Im not convinced this place rises above the others. Their patio is its saving grace. My server was probably one of the least engaging people Ive ever met & he messed up our drink/food orders 4 times throughout the night. I have been here twice, however, and service was better the first go around. Eventhough they kicked us out exactly at closing time. I have found some of the menu options are misleading. The "queso" for instance was nothing short of pimento cheese. The major perks here are: location and damn good margaritas/cocktails

I came in with a group of about 7 people, late evening. Ordered chips/salsa/queso to start. Each person ordered 2 or 3 of the different tacos. A decent amount of variety was available on the menu and each type I tried was really great. As with most of these type of taco joints, dont come expecting to get filled up without spending more than youd like. The tacos (although delicious) are smaller portions. Generally a good experience but $3-$4 per taco is a bit much for me. Worth a shot if youre looking for a fun spot with high-quality ingredients. Margs were good too!
