First impression: I walk in and I see this very open well decorated place that is overflowing with energy and conversation. There were already people waiting to be seated so my date and I sit on a nearby bench. I few people were called up and one of the hostesses on shift was to busy flirting with a coworker to realize we were there when a family walked in and was seated before us. The other hostess came to seat. Drinks: The waitress that came to get our drink order definitely needs to smile. I asked for sweet tea, nope. Unsweetened or raspberry are my only options. Whole milk? Nope. 2%, skim or chocolate. More choices please. Ordering: The waiter that came to take our order was a very nice man. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He took our order and came back ten-fifteen minutes later and said the kitchen was about ten minutes behind. Understandable in this crowded place. Food: we got our food before we expected to, which was a nice surprise. My date ordered french toast with biscuits and gravy. She said the toast was delicious and it was also huge but slightly undercooked. My garden frittata came with an english muffin and diced potatoes. The potatoes were good. The frittata was delicious. Conclusion: All in all my visit was good. Even though my date got bored with me writing this. I would come back.

The food was really amazing. Excellent quality, beautifully presented, and perfect portions. What brings this review to 3 stars is awful service. Young man in robins egg shirt and suspenders was at the front. He never made eye contact, and spoke in a quiet or muttering fashion. When he asked us to follow him I couldnt even hear him, and of course since he wont look at you, didnt have the faintest idea he was talking to me. Another group closer to him let us know he was talking to us. The coffee in the waiting area was empty, the young female hostess manning the podium said that she could "fill it if we wanted her too". Well dont bother, but really whats the point of the station if you cant keep it filled? The one employee who smiled and welcomed us was a young Hispanic man who was wiping tables. That was nice... until a blond lady came over and berated him about something right next to us. Thats not professional, if you want to train employees thats fine but dont criticize in front of customers whenever possible. I would come back again I guess. If only for the food. We had a turkey and apple croissant w a chicken chowder soup, my bf had a custom omelette... All super tastey!

Almost one of the worse dining experiences of my life. Before we even got in the building my grandmother tripped and hit her head on the concrete because of the rug in front of the door being bunched up because the hostess was clearly to lazy to lay it flat. When my grandmother fell the hostess just stood there and watched with no offer of help or apologizs. We were sat with no menus. The manager came over to check on my grandmother and take what almost seemed to be a police report. She said she was going to talk to witnesses and take statements about what happend. She did not, clearly to cover her ass and the restaurants if any legal action should be taken later. Good thing I got the names and numbers myself. We were never even offered a meal comp for my grandmother whos face was slowly swelling and turning black as I sat across from her. I will never return to the egg and I again, not only because of they way were treated but also the quality of the food. The price just doesnt match the small portions you receive.

Generally speaking, this place is okay. The food is really good and the kale refresher drink is surprisingly delicious. Cleanliness needs work - the booth I was sat at had garbage between the bench slats, easily removable had the cleaner taken an extra 10 seconds, and Im convinced the restaurant needs a new dishwasher because the one they have kinda sucks. The silverware I was provided, as well as the coffee mug, had stuff still stuck to them; when I asked for a new fork I got a bad vibe from the waitress like she didnt appreciate that I was whining about something. Other than that, she was very nice (even if it felt a bit forced) and the host was even more welcoming, so service there was acceptable. I didnt really find the place terribly expensive myself.

I was really impressed. I got a free gift card from my work and I wasnt expecting very much because of the 3.7 stars on Google Maps, but the whole restaurant was extremely clean and well laid out. Very classy, with good lighting. The service was quick and professional, and the food was good. I got the (I think) Hiker Eggs Benedict, which were very good. I especially liked the asparagus addition. The portion wasnt very large, so if youre a big eater, maybe get something bigger, but they tasted great and cost less than ten bucks. Overall, just a really pleasant surprise.

Service was quick and friendly . Food portions were ok for the price. I ordered crab cakes benedict and my biggest complaint was that the poached eggs were more like hard boiled eggs, not at all runny and delicious. I requested new poached eggs, which arrived promptly, however, they were about the same as the first ones, but without hollandaise sauce. I might give them another shot, but definitely at a different location, and hopefully they can get the poached eggs right.

Manager brought our meal. We asked him for creamer. Didnt bring it...ever. No one checked on us. Water glasses empty. Coffee empty. This was the second time weve been to this restaurant where we complained to manager. Both times his excuse was, "sorry, we didnt know we were going to be this busy." Seriously? Saturday morning breakfast and you didnt think you would be busy???? He comped our meal. But still a disappointing experience.

Last day in Colorado wanted to try different breakfast restaurant, so wife found Egg & I. Glad she did. Clean and spacious seating. We both ordered the Colorado Jack Scrambled with pork green chili sauce. Fantastic!! Nice seasoning on the scramble and the green chili sauce was excellent choice for smothering it. Would recommend eating here, wish there was one in Oklahoma..but we will be back.

Upon arrival there were at least 5 open tables that simply needed to be cleaned... yet no one seemed interested in doing it. Finally got seated and ordered. Order was wrong. Started to eat literally two bites in and then we found the hairs... one in each of our dishes. That was the last straw, we just got up and left. Beware... the cook here is shedding all over your food.

Came on Labor Day at 8 am and the restaurant is less than half full but told there will be at minimum 15 wait for a table because "they had two large tables come in at the same time". There are 3 servers working. At least a dozen people have came and left because didnt want to wait any longer and its been 32 minutes now with no table. Hire more servers on a Holiday!

The food was good and the table was clean but our server was having an off day. One of our entrees didnt come out and we had to remind him 3 times to bring one of drinks out for a child in our group. When we got our food we werent ever given napkins or flatware. Another server assisted us so we could eat and seemed to be doing a great job with her tables.
