DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE DECENT REVIEWS!!! This place was absolutely disgusting. I usually am not enticed by asian buffets, but after recently moving close by this location and seeing that it had over 4 stars my wife and I decided to give it a try. We regretted that decision after taking our first bites. The food was absolutely disgusting. Nothing tasted like it should. All of the sashimi tasted very fishy and obviously not fresh. Only the salmon was palatable. The sushi rice was hard and had a putrid taste to it. The various flavors of fried chicken all tasted like rubber and vomit. My wife watched an employee pick up a piece of broccoli with his bare hands, motion to one of the chefs that they needed more, AND THEN TOSS IT BACK IN WITH THE REST OF THE FOOD. When he noticed my wife looking at him with disgust he just giggled and shrugged. The environment is dirty and I lost my appetite just sitting there. I tried to keep an open mind after my first plate, but everything I tried just got worse and worse. It is VASTLY overpriced. For 20 dollars a person you could easily satisfy yourself with AMAZING sushi at Katsuya, just down the street. I probably ate 5 dollars worth of food and my wife and I just had to leave. I dont know who is leaving these good reviews, but they cannot be trusted.

Ive never left a negative review before, but this place was very disappointing. While it does offer many choices, only a few Chinese dishes were enjoyable. The sushi was tasteless, the fried chicken was very stale. The pizza wasnt as good as store bought pizza. My 18 yr old son couldnt even eat the pizza. The snow crab legs werent bad. It seemed most people were piling these on their plates. The salad bar had a very limited selection. The desserts were ok, average, about what youd expect. Even with all of this I was mostly disappointed with the service. We had to constantly ask for our plates to be taken. We had to put the dirty dishes on an adjacent table. They never came by to see if we wanted refills on our sodas. Then when they brought the bill, they had already added in the gratuity. We were only three people, but they decided how much we should tip. Really takes a special kind of arrogance to do that. The price was $19 per person plus more for drinks. Thats really not bad for a good, full buffet. But in this case, anything over $5 is too much.

Never coming here again! Rude & I GOT FOOD POISONING!!! To start off, the host AND MANAGER were very rude. My family and I felt very discriminated, it was a very busy Sunday and we understood we had to wait. After a while of waiting we started to notice they would seat other people before us, the host would explain to the people coming in that there was a waiting time and right away the manager would come up and say oh no no its okay come this way (after would whisper something into the hosts ear) and thats when I had enough I finally said something and she would have an excuse for everyone who would be seated before us. That same day, as soon as we got home my boyfriend threw up, I didnt think much of it until I started to feel very bad throughout the whole night and even the next day I was throwing up nonstop! I even had to go to urgent care, just want to give everyone a heads up because I wouldnt want anyone to feel the way I did for about 3 days !!! It was terrible.

I love this place! They have everything, from the Japanese, seafood, soup, California Fusion, Teppanyaki, to the ice cream, chocolate fountain and dessert buffet. This place is awesome! My husband loved his Teppanyaki noodles, with all the mixed meats: steak, chicken and the shrimps! My daughter went gaga over the baked clams and mussels, and the oh-so delicious, mouth watering mushrooms! Mushrooms had never tasted this good! I got a small bowl of just mushrooms. We are not heavy eaters, but we made an exception the night we had dinner at Sumo Asian Buffet. We will surely be back, soon!

Very disappointed !! , trying out a new place around the neighborhood sorry to say very disgusting food, I know its buffet but they havent even changed it out and replaced it with fresh food its 7 oclock and it taste like its from this afternoon , When we went to pay , The hostess asked everything OK and we said no we told her the truth that everything tasted like it had been sitting there all day which it probably was she still charged us $43.. , I had to say but the only thing that tasted OK was a little cup of ice cream.

This is the best buffet Ive ever been to! The food is always fresh and delicious. They have a BBQ where you can customize your perfect plate to your taste. A great variety of sushi made by amazing sushi experts. Their dessert options are amazing and they even have a chocolate fountain! The waiters and staff are very catering and are always checking up asking if you need anything which makes the customer feel great. If you are ever in the area, make sure you stop by for a delicious meal!

Came here for my birthday thanks to amazing friends who decided to plan! We came around 5pm and was able to stay as long as our little hearts desired. Not sure if it was because it was a weekday so the establishment wasnt as busy but its nice not having to be rushed when youre eating, you should try the best quality of cooking at this place, I love it so much <3

Travelling for work, I need variety, try to avoid fast food when I can. I often look for buffets and am usually let down even with 4.5 stars the food is usuall dry, scarce. This place!.. fresh food, kept in stock! Variety!... The Sushi looks fresh, tastes great, doesnt look like it had been sittimg there sadly and no one loves it. Very happy. Would return!

Food was ok. Service is the worst. Sat down and they took our drink order. Twenty minutes in and still no drinks. Looked for our server gossiping with coworkers and reminded him of our drinks. Had to go to the front counter just to get napkins. Too many things to mention. As far as asian buffet, not a place that i would recomend.

Good buffet. The food is okay, but you really need to avoid the fried rice, and the noodles, etc. Some food is not tasty, but some are good. The soup is also decent because the broth they used will not be overused. I could tell that they tried for the ice cream as a scoop instead of soft serve.

Not bad for an all you can eat place. There are a good selection of different things available, and for the most part, they are pretty good. The sushi is okay too and they also serve Poke! While this isnt the most delicious food, it will do, and for the price I would say the value is there.

I arrived at noon on 5/16/16 with three guests. The dinning area was filthy the rugs needed to be cleaned and vacuumed. The glassware was spotted and the teapot was stained and dirty. The food was mediocre at best, the sushi average. Very disappointed as I have been there many times before
