Weve been going to Valley Brewing over the past few years. In the past its been very positive. This last Sunday was very poor. The beers taste "off" for some reason (both the wife and I agreed). They just didnt seem as clean tasting as in the past. Also they discontinued the Hitman Golden Ale and another 1-2 beers from what I remember on their list. They did not have a list for us to look at either (not sure why?). The beers on their website no longer match (if you can even get into it, the opening page has an error) The food was worse than before. A simple plate of nachos had little cheese, some enchilada sauce, tomatoes and a few green onions. It came with a tiny condiment cup (1-2 oz) of salsa on the side. Very poor. The food used to be good here. The service was very poor. There was a very inexperienced bartender who seemed over his head at running the bar. Very slow, disappeared without notice, couldnt work the register correctly. Two clearly drunk customers were at the bar, and we watched both of them chase other customers away from the bar, and the bartender did nothing. Also the bartenders drunk buddy was sitting behind us at the high table making a general nuisance of himself and being annoying with his other buddies. This buddy was also a friend of one of the waitresses, who was horsing around and knocked this buddy off a chair and onto the floor, in a big noisy crash. The bartender was polite and trying, but you could tell he was not experienced enough to handle things and the whole area felt uncomfortable. We noticed that this same waitress from above spent a lot of time talking (and being loud and annoying) with other employees at the station area or with friends at the bar. Once the table behind us cleared of people, the mess sat there for 20 minutes before she started to clear it, and really only did when another customer came in and said he had more people coming and wanted the table. Lastly, the place was dirty and the bathrooms especially so. We may have gone there for the last time. The whole feel of the place was uncomfortable. We are not sure what has happened or changed, but it seems that something has and its not good. We are now considering alternative places to go.

Valley Brew is a great place for dinner, drinks and entertainment. I can go hang out with buddies, or take my 5-year old and be equally as comfortable (depending on the time of day, of course). Love the choice of beers and specialty drinks, and the menu is varied and very good! Garlic cheese fries as an appetizer are the best! Pizzas are very, very good, as are the sandwiches and the Ribeye steak dinner! They also have great Beer Dinners and Wine Dinners from time to time, and often have great entertainment in the showroom like "Take 5 Jazz at the Brew" (Brubeck Institute), Jeremy "Elvis" Pearce (Elvis Impersonator), and "50 SHADES OF FUNNY" (Comedy & Hypnosis Show), as well as other talent! Its not only a great sports bar, its a great all-around family restaurant. Ill keep going back!

Good luck trying to get an interview at this place. The owners left me on hold for 15 minutes and never picked up. Ive gone in a few times, times in which their employees have asked me to come back to speak with someone in charge and one of those times the woman who owned the facility was very snooty and had a matter of fact attitude. I thought there was such charm about this place that had drawn me in and I thought it would be such a great experience to work here, able to learn about the process of brewing, enjoy an atmosphere with several people who enjoyed beers, but it turns out I was incredibly wrong. Valley Brew lost a customer and at what cost? Taps barrel house has a better selection of beer anyhow and they would never disregard their customers the same way.

I wanted to celebrate my birthday in style so my wife and I contacted Valley Brews. We rented their back room and had a great party for about 35 people. They provide the food and drink, a bartender, clean up, set up.....the works! They kept our guest happy well taken care of. It was the easiest party we threw. The business was easy to work with and thought about every detail. I would strongly recommend that anyone thinking of throwing a party and yet dreading the clean up think about letting Valley Brews take care of it for you!

the server was very friendly but i ordered garlic fries and they brought out cheese fries with a garlic smell, for my entree i ordered the monte cristo sandwich was made with french toast instead of being actually fried and while that didnt bother me too much the meat inside was different temperatures from really hot to ice cold. my date didnt really seem to enjoy her burger either but who knows! all in all a good happy hour spot but the food isnt great!

Were visiting Stockton for the weekend and decided to try Valley Brewing Co. based on the reviews online. It completely exceeded my expectations. Great place for families. Lots of TVs, great food, great beer, great service. The yam fries were the best fries Ive ever had, perfectly crunchy with a nice cinnamon flavor. Large portions, fairly priced. Wed definitely go back. (and its right next to Baskin Robbins too, to round out a great evening)

Was there with a large group on a Saturday around 11:00am. They knew we where coming but still only only had one waitress n she was was overwhelmed with all of us! Food took along time n the Fish n Chips was like nuggets for a rip offf price of $14dollars! My Chef Dalad had a medal shaving in it!# ! Dont recommend this place!!!

Never had a problem, until today. I will never return. The bar glass was not clean, in fact, it had a cell phone screen cover wrapped around the inside of my glass and I discovered it as I sipped! DISGUSTING!!! Received little satisfaction from the manager. Very disappointed.

I had one of their home brewed beers. The red ale and it was so food. For dinner I had the blue cheese burger and salad. The meat was cooked to perfection. Very tasty. I sat at the bar and the bartender was friendly and service was fast. I recommend it.

The staff is friendly. Great selection of micro beers. I wouldnt go here to eat dinner but to munch while your having some drinks food is ok. Makes for a good place to watch the game. Patio and inside are pretty big lots of places to sit.

Go somewhere else! The food is like a gas station. Service is slow even when empty. They have 40 beers on tap on a illegible menu, and none of the servers know anything about beer. The beer they brew here is undrinkable.
