I have been a Community Bakery customer all of my life. I even remember my mother purchasing birthday cakes from this bakery when I was a little girl. HOWEVER, over the past few years, I have been more than DISAPPOINTED with the customer service. The workers, with an exception to very few, have been rude and discourteous! For the past three years, each and every birthday cake order has been incorrect, yet because I LOVE the taste of their white cake and butter cream icing, I continue to endure. This past weekend, I purchased a half sheet cake and sugar cookies for my son’s birthday party. Not only were my purchases at the WRONG LOCATION, but they were also incorrect AGAIN! After the inconvenience of driving from the Shakleford location to Main, I then had to wait for them to correct the order because it was completely WRONG! With that said, I missed the first half of my son’s birthday party and did not receive one “I’m sorry” from management. In fact, the one and only time a manager even stepped out of the kitchen to acknowledge me was when I requested to speak to one after being expected to PAY FOR MY INCORRECT ORDER. I was completely shocked and insulted. The actual manager that came to speak with me was JOHN SPROLES. Mr. Sproles was RUDE AND UNAPOLOGETIC. He acted as if I was an inconvenience to him and continued to repeat the phrase, “that’s all that I can do,” several times as I expressed how upset I was by the service. IF YOU PLAN TO ORDER FROM THIS STORE, YOU MUST FIRST CONSIDER IF YOU VALUE GREAT CAKE OVER RESPECT AND SERVICE! My advice: you can get great cake anywhere.

I wish I could give zero stars but it would not let me. It was my first visit and it was awe full. They completely missed my order and I had to go up to the counter again to double check. The employees had a poor attitude and did not really seem like they cared about the customers and their satisfaction level. The items on their menu are extremely overpriced. I order a grilled chicken sandwich and i got a white castle size bun cut in to two, had a piece of cold grilled chicken, piece of lettuce and a tomato and it was 6 bucks. The soups were cold and had no flavor. They did not have any hot sauce either, do they not check before they open for the day? They are en established joint but they are extremely over rated with extremely poor customer service and sub par cleanliness. Please dont go there

Food is a bit on the pricey side comparatively, but then it isnt your run-of-the-mill pre-packaged defrosted Starbucks food. Employees need a lesson in toning down their loudness behind the counter; Theres being heard and then theres being crass and obnoxious. Very busy at lunch time as can be expected. Pastries are usually good on freshness, free refills on fountain soda and coffee. Overall not bad, just some of the employees are loud and unrefined when it comes to behavior.

Used Community Bakery recently for our wedding - the cake was DELICIOUS! They were wonderful to work with - a little hard to get a hold of, but with it being wedding season I completely understand. We sent a picture of what we wanted the cake to look like and they articulated it perfectly! We had some cake left over and ate on it for a good week and half. By the end of the week it was still delicious! Would recommend this bakery to everyone!

Called a couple days in advance to order a graduation cake for my sister. They were so accommodating and helpful. When I arrived to pick it up, they were arranging the cutest bow on top and it was a gorgeous cake. The price was great and it was just adorable. The best part was eating it! So so so delicious!!! This was my 1st cake order from Community and I will definitely drive from Beebe to get my cakes from here!

Ive eaten here before and the food is good. However I called to make a pick up tonight and when I showed up, they told me they had been out of what Id ordered "for hours." The employee asked me if I wanted something else and I started to pull up their menu on my phone... then he walked away and closed the window. No one came back to speak with me. Super weird and offputting.

The bakery products are average. Nothing has a wow factor. The lunch is expensive with little thought. Several times I tried this place my soup was cold. The evening shift states into space rather than serve you. Dont even think about asking for something outside the exact menu or typical preparation. I really wanted to like this place when we moved downtown.

A customer tried to buy a drink for a homeless man on a 100+ degree day and the employees would not sell them a drink saying "sorry its our policy." So its their policy not to help people and to discourage humanity? The employees are rude and loud and the food is overpriced. There are many other places you can go for better service and morality.

I have always been a fan of this place but today I called in my order and when i got there I had to wait 30 mins in line, got to the window and they ran out of the soup I ordered. Got back to eat my sandwich and there is very little egg salad on my sandwich and the bread is hard as a rock. Not Happy

Cozy atmosphere. Locally owned. Great offering of home made soups, frittatas, quiches, paninis, in addition to fresh baked breads, pastries, cakes, pies, and a variety of cold and hot drinks. Open early to late. Board games and papers available. Local artists display revolves. Great atmosphere.

Refreshingly good soups, sandwiches, and desserts; great bakery breads, cookies, and cakes. Seating is limited, but intimate-good for two to four in a group. Wi-Fi is free, but makes it easy to stay too long. Good coffees; street or lot parking. One of our favorite places, about average prices.

Cool hip environment with a laid back crowd. The baked treats are great. I would highly suggest the glazed donuts and the sausage rolls. Fair warning though, the rolls run out quickly so get there early. Great selection a perfectly brewed coffee. A must try if visiting Little Rock.

I love Community Bakery. I use them for all of our birthday cakes and they have never let me down! By far the best cakes in town and Ive tried lots of different ones. I call them, tell them what I need, they recommend decorations, and the cakes always turn out beautiful!

Lovely place, and exactly what we were looking for: simple, real food; a quirky and pretty setting; reasonable prices, and something unique to the town. Great coffee, too, and a good place to grab a bite before you wander through the pretty historic district nearby.

They baked a birthday cake and baby shower cake for a dual family celebration with a custom decor to match our theme - the cakes were beautiful and delicious. I also eat here regularly for lunch (love the soups) and often take home a desert. My go to bakery.
