This place is classic. A staple for my wife and I. Plenty of flavor choices. Most of them are good to great...their traditional buffalo are mediocre (I would go to Wings Over Broadway for those), but the rest should please. Their Asian flavored wings are the best (like the sesame/spicy teriyaki). They also offer a variety of other dishes, like Katsu (some kind of deep fried chicken with a special kind of sauce). Very good. My favorite part about Wings & Rice may actually be the rice. Their fried rice contains fairly basic ingredients overall, however, they add this unique and delicious sauce on top (I forget what they call it)...but it is fairly addictive. I crave that sauce/the rice at this place more than I crave their wings. Their prices are unbeatable compared to any other wing joint im aware of. Employees are friendly and food doesnt take too long to come out. Free WiFi is nice while waiting. You gotta try it.

I would have loved to add a picture of my wings, but they were gone by the time I remembered to take a picture! I ordered the lemon pepper wings, they were definitely respectable and had good flavor, I just thought they were small and you didnt get a lot of wings considering the amount you paid. The fried rice was fluffy... yeah, that is the best way to describe it... the chicken was cut up chicken breast and didnt seem to be mixed into to the rice... it seemed like it was layered on after it was cooked. Maybe next time I could be a little more explicit about my order, just to make sure its up to my expectations. Aside from that, wings and rice is definitely a great combination... I want to try it again, I think it may be best to go in and ask questions about the food prior to ordering. Overall I will give 3.5 stars... but they were super polite when I went in and you can definitely tell they respect their customers.

Stopped by here during football season because I had a hankering for good wings. While they werent the worst wings Ive ever had, they certainly werent good. The wings were overcooked, tough and dry. The garlic parmesan wings had absolutely no garlic and I had to douse them in garlic and hot sauce at home so I could eat them. My hubby doesnt like bone-in wings, so I grabbed some of those too. The sauce was okay, but they were literally sauced up frozen chicken tenders. Poor show! The service was fast and the price was okay, but the thing I liked most was the crunchy celery and carrot spears . . . and thats pretty sad.

I give these guys 3 stars because, while the quality of the food was good, we walked out feeling like we paid too much for the portion we got and there were a couple of things we wish we had known beforehand. CALL AHEAD or dont go there if youre in a hurry (lunch break) and know that the Japanese "White" Sauce is NOT actually white. Dont pour the ranch sauce on your fried rice just because its white! Ha ha! Im willing to give the place one more try, but my girlfriend isnt. The only thing that sounded good to her was the Spicy Chicken Chowder and they were all out.

When the place is called Wings & Rice... you should stick to the wings and rice. The Louisianan or Buffalo bone-in wings here are fantastic and the fried rice is great. The house salad is also nice. The portions for everything are gigantic. I just wouldnt even bother with some of the other items on the menu. For example, the sauce for the teriyaki chicken is cloying and the boneless wings are very processed (like chicken-loaf rather than chicken meat). If you get the wings and rice at Wings & Rice you wont be disappointed!

Location: Small shopping center at the corner of Craycroft and Pima. Its there with a checkcashing place. Dont blink or youll miss it! Food: Food is excellent! The Wings and Rice combo is the best and has the best flavor. Drink: Self Drink control :) Price: Price is reasonable with great portions. You should not be walking away hungry! My recommendation: Garlic Parmesan Wings with the Wings and Rice Combo. My stomach is already growling writing this review.

This is one of those locally-owned restaurants you want to see succeed but not get too big. Located in a small strip-mall, the restaurant is immaculate, tidy, and well-lit. The staff are very friendly. I have not tried the rice (Im a low-carb eater) but the hot wings were superb: crispy, not slimy, and flavorful without being overpowering. Delicious! The spicy wings were sharp but not searing; the garlic and parmesan wings were delicious. Highly recommended!

GO HERE. If you are reading this debating if you want to eat here, stop debating and eat here. If you love wings, the wing and rice plate is insane. The wings are big and they have good sauces. And the rice has this weirdly amazing drizzle on it and its a perfect side compliment to the wings. Also the plate can last two meals! Im actually driving to this place now. I cant stop thinkin about it.

Ive been a dabbler in wings for a while, but this place turned the corner for me. I prefer their wings over Wings Stop and Buffalo Wild Wings any day. Try the Spicy Teriyaki... Having fried rice as the side is a good choice too. They have a nice sauce that tops the rice and gives it a bit of a unique flavor. The place is also locally owned and operated... No big chain stuff.

I waited for a while for my order of cheese fries and buffalo chicken strips. Both were not very good and I regret going there. My buffalo chicken strips were just frozen flat pieces of breaded chicken that they had dumped buffalo sauce on--too much at that. It was sloppy and not appetizing at all. The fries were okay, but the cheese sauce was bland. The cashier was pleasant.

Classic Tucson charm. The place has soul. The lunch special is a good size for a good price. I would not suggest upgrading the order to the "large" or non-special size - unless youre really hungry for rice. Upgrading the order just gives you a much larger amount of rice. The rice itself is delicious. They have glass bottles of coke with cane sugar instead of HFC.

I used to live in Amherst NY and had Buffalo wings every week. These are authentic Buffalo style wings. The medium sauce is just like the sauce I used to taste back in Buffalo. They did not bread the wings or over cook them. The chicken fried rice was not too dry or too moist, and in a large quantity. All the sauces provided complemented the meal. Ill be back.

When I worked down the street from Wings & Rice, I would get take out at least twice a week. Ive gotten to know the whole staff over the years & they are all great, friendly people. The food is awesome! I recommend any of the house fried rice dishes, the katsu pork or the terryaki chicken. Ive never tried the wings but am sure theyre good.

The rice tastes stale, the meats are flavorless and the wings are seasoned in a strange way. I had the teriyaki wings and they were both too sweet at the beginning and had a super salty after taste. I was thoroughly disappointed in my purchase. I have tried it again since and its just as bad.
