Food was good, not great, a little overpriced. My biggest complaint is that they tried to charge me an extra 50 cents on my bill, I asked them what this was for, and the waitress said it was a charge for the use of a credit or debit card. The problem was, i hadnt given them my card yet, i hadnt chosen my method of payment yet, but it was just on the bill. So, had I happened to pay cash, they would have still charged me that extra 50 cents. 50 cents is not much money, but i consider what they did an unscrupulous, shady and under-handed business practice; one that I will remember and as a result, will never go to this place again. The waitress also tried to charge me extra for the spicy vegetable side dishes, something that never happens at any of the other Korean restaurants Ive ever been to. Whoever owns the place must be incredibly stingy, petty and cheap, I would hate to be an employee there.

Kimchi time is not for Korean. If you are a native Korean, you would better to find another Korean restaurant. I am a native Korean. I was traveling at Tucson and I went to Kimchi time today. I ordered "Deon Jang Soup". The steamed rice was half-cooked. Deon Jang soup contained a few solid ingredients. I did not expect a good quality soup, but the soup was much worse than my expectation. I very carefully and respectfully talked to the manager at the counter that the steamed rice was half-cooked. However, he told very sarcastically that the rice was fully cooked and it was multi-grain rice. I could not speak anymore due to his sarcastic remarks. I felt that he would not care this issue at all.

Just finished eating here. About halfway through the seafood stew I ordered a rather large piece of saran wrap *2 inches by 2 inches* ended up in my mouth, I assumed it was a tomato or something. I informed the waitress and she took my food and informed the manager. The manager/owner never addressed the issue and didnt comp a single item off my partys order. A friend I was with discussed it with the manager/owner before leaving, explaining that an apology is the least of what he couldve done to maintain a good customer relationship. The manager said, "That mistakes happen and its not liked anyone choked." Its sad, but now I need a new regular Korean food spot.

First of all I am married to a Korean and spent 5&1/2 years in Korea, so I am claiming expert witness status. My wife and I visited Tucson last week and based on all the rave reviews decided Kimchi Time would be our first stop for some good Korean food. Maybe we caught the B team but our experience was that the food was marginal and the service was almost non existent. The waitresses were more interested in gossiping amongst themselves than attending to Customers. The Kalbi was way too sweet and the Kimchi was some of the worst I ever had...the other Ban Chan was sparse and bland. The following day we ate at Seoul Kitchen...far better

Not good, almost bad, but mostly just meh. We ordered 3 dishes: dukpoki, soon tubu chigae, and beef bukgogi. All were subpar. They lacked the depth and flavoring of good korean food. Dukpoki was the winner by a hair. The side dishes were served in skimpy portions. The radish kimchi was good but the regular cabbage kimchi was nothing special. Everything I ate could have been made better. I will not go back to this place. The lady who waited on us, might have been the owner, was nice.

Kimchi Time by far is the best Korean Restaurant in Tucson. I went with a group and all of us enjoyed our meals. We were pleased by the portions, and enjoyed a combo appetizer too. Prices are reasonable, service is excellent, and the restaurant is basically quiet, no loud music or TV blaring in the background. Strongly recommended for fans of Korean food and groups who seek international cuisine.

We absolutely loved this place! Never been here before...and Ill definitely go back.. My friend and I had the Japchae (sweet potato noodles) with veggies and beef, excellent. For dessert we enjoyed the green tea ice cream and red bean mochi ice cream. Heavenly! Great service and great food! Best Korean food Ive had yet in Tucson! Thank you!

Went to Kimchi Time for the second time last week. First time I got the dolsot bibim-bap. It was pretty good, but not quite what I had hoped. Second time I got the beef soon dubu chiggae. It was fabulous! It was hearty and had a great flavor, and paired with the rice it was absolute perfection. Will be going back again!

Best Korean food in Arizona! The menu is full of options not common to other Korean restaurants. The service is always friendly - it is a family-run restaurant. Even if youre not familiar with Korean food, the menu is helpful in making a good decision. The food is very authentic. Overall, just plain amazing!

Definitely the best Korean food in Tucson, though admittedly the bar isnt set very high. The food is solid, but is pretty expensive when considering the serving size. One thing Im not a fan of is that they definitely skimp on the Banchan; they will, however, bring more at your request.

Food taste fine, but portion and side dishes are very tiny consider the price tag. The chicken bulgogi was also undercook on my previous visit. Services is average. I dont understand why this place get a high rating. I dont think Ill be back again.

Before eating at Kimchi Time, Id had Korean food a couple of times and was pretty lukewarm to it. Not so anymore! I love this place. The food is always excellent and the staff are very welcoming. Its become one of my all-time favorite restaurants.

Great staff, great food. We arrived late on a weeknight, but never felt rushed or unappreciated. We chose a range of appetizers, entrees, drinks, and desserts and everything was just outstanding. Definitely going to Kimchi Time again!

Delightful experience, really attentive staff, and the food was great. We shared the soup with dumplings and rice cakes, so wonderful on a cold (as far as the desert is concerned) night.

Had the Bi Bim Bop which was very delicious. Also the staff were extremely friendly and made my family feel welcomed. They even offered the kids a small yogurt drink on the house.

Waited fifteen minutes once we were seated, could not get a menu or any attention. Others were sat after us were given menus and had drink orders taken. Finally gave up and left

Excellent food and service. The person I came to the restaurant with though is very frustrating to be around. She gets 0 stars. Kimchi Time gets 5 stars.
