Stopped in on the recommendation of my grandparents who live in town and enjoy wine. We came in on a musical downtown weekend for Silverton. The wine bar had a live band by the door, so that was cool. It was a fun, inviting atmosphere. The employees were friendly and the meals were tasty. The Salmon was delicious. I was a bit underwhelmed by the wine selection. The wines they had were enjoyable but the selection seemed limited. This was an enjoyable experience and I will definitely be back to try more wines.

From good to bad: Good wine. Mediocre service. Horrible food. New York steak was not a New York cut. It was 50% fat and bland. They confirmed it and thankfully comped it. The Caesar had practically no dressing. I based this review primarily on the food. The ambience and selections were their only saving grace.

I have gone to Howard Hinsdale cellars a few times. It is always great in every way! Twice I have gone on a Tuesday evening and the guys playing music are REALLY good. Wine, food, service and music, cant beat that!

Our dinners were all amazing, and affordable to boot. To top it off there was (volume appropriate) acoustic music that was completely great! Well definitely be coming back!
