MOCA is very hip and trendy. You will get a dose of the hottest R&B, Hip Hop and Reggae at MOCA. I absolutely loved it. I saw the review about being served drinks in plastic cups, NOT ONE OF MY DRINKS WERE IN ANYTHING BUT A glass. I took my best friend here on 4-5-08 and she loved it! I recommend you get to MOCA by 9:30 pm or 10 pm if you want to get a seat (at the lastest) otherwise you will be standing and MOCA fills up quick- Shortly after 10 pm you can barely see the floor. The DJ was so good. There were a lot of the people celebrating birthdays on April 5th and 6th and the DJ kept making personal birthday shout-outs all night. The food was good. I would suggest the catfish fingers, or the moca tier sampler. If you do not eat ribs, they will substitute the ribs with some other appetizers. The portions are huge. I did not try the entrees, but the appetizers were great. The sweet potato fries seemed to be a huge favorite with people sitting around. I had a lot of conversations with "Heather" before coming to MOCA. She is so nice and helpful. She encouraged me to try MOCA and I am glad I did. Friday and Saturday nights are the best nights to go. If you can request "Shavonne" as your server. She was so nice, and she was on top of her game. We were seated quick. Our drinks came quickly, and our food too. I prefer partying uptown. MOCA is like The DEN in Harlem too. You will not be disappointed with MOCA!! Pros: Strong Drinks, Good Music, Reasonable Prices, Great Food and Spectacular Service! Cons: Have to arrive and start partying by 9 or 10 pm if you want to be seated!

I went 3-Feb-2016 at 2100hrs for erotic poetry. Well the hosts were all really drunk and I understand poetry is a form of expression and everyone is free to say what he or she wants to say, however if you plan to degrade women, in a blatant insulting manner this is not the way in which you do it. I left at 2300hrs and only 3 people performed. Sad to say I wasnt the only one that get feed-up and left.

RoBBed in HarLem!!!!! It waS my 2nd time in this lounge but this by was the worst!!!! Its smelled like some1 stepped in something foul outside. I told the,waitress but she had NO CONSIDER!! PLUS $10 for two sodas !!? ( in A sMaLL 8Oz gLass??) ThAts just not right. My soda Cost More Than My AppS!!! STRAIGHT ROBBERY!!

Four of us walked in on New Years Eve at 10:30 PM. The place was pretty empty. After showing our IDs And getting patted down, we were told by the bouncers there was a 2 drink minimum. No live music, No DJ. Not even a crowd. We turned around and left. Cant comment on the food or the drinks.

Erotic poetry night on Tuesdays and the open mike session is great the stand up comedians had my stomach and back hurting for 2 days because I laughed so much...the wings and food were excellent. Please be advised Tuesday night is for the grown and sexy and classy

I have been to Mocas twice and each experience was as pleasant as the last. The drinks are reasonable. Happy hour was until I think 9:00, the drinks were $5 and the appetizers were like $8. Definitely try the catfish and french fries. I definitely recommend Mocas.

This establishment is very relaxing. Perfect for first dates. On Mondays and Tuesdays they have special entertainment. Mondays are comedy night 8pm, Tuesdays are erotic poetry.

Surprisingly dead on a saturday night @ 3 am. Hip hop music at a good colume. Very casual attire, sneakers and hats. Mu friend came in with toms. Maybe it was an off night
