Need more lighting out on porch, sat there with my family and it was pretty hard to see everything clearly. Not blind, but when everything on your plate is the same color was hard to tell what you were having exactly. Calamari sauce was a bit watery but still flavorful, I prefer thicker sauce. Mild wings were VERY hot, honestly think they messed up and gave us hot wings because they were definitely not mild. My big disappointment is after we had ordered wings for an appetizer the waitress had some back to take our order; I tried to tell her three different ways that for my meal I wanted to get the calamari appetizer(because they have no calamari meal) and a cesar salad. I emphasized and was explicit that I did not want it as an appetizer but as part of my main meal. Even my family with me tried to help her understand, but clearly we wasted our breath because she still brought it out as an appetizer. Ended up getting cold before my meal came, but was smart and ate some while it was fresh. She also brought all our meals but my Uncles clam pasta; apparently they were making fresh pasta, but she never bothered to inform him until he brought it up. By that time everyone else had basically finished their meals. The steak part of the surf and turf was not a very good cut of steak and overcooked it, wanted medium rare and there was no pink at all. The waitress also wasnt very attentive to our drinks. Ended up waiting over 10 minutes just for water so next time I saw her I stopped her and just asked her to bring a pitcher to the table. Also I understand its to keep the water cold but this big pitcher she brought barely filled 3 cups, over half of it was ice. Would of been a good time if our waitress was more attentive and used her noggin, otherwise food was okay. No one got sick, just annoyed with service.

Came in with some friends to order some drinks. Three wait staffers took turns scrutinizing our IDs for several minutes and asked a multitude of unwarranted personal questions because we were "out of state." After many questions and glares, they finally served us. But after the less than welcoming exchange, we decided to leave for a more accommodating place. I can understand the necessity of checking IDs, however, this was above and beyond the required due diligence as we were grilled longer than some well-done steaks.

Off the Hook is always good but quite as good as I hope. I always sit outside (not a view but large and relaxing). The beer selection is solid. My friend and I went for the whole belly clams and fried seafood platter. The fish and clams are fine but the coating and frying is just a little off. Maybe the frylator needs to be a little hotter. Maybe more breading. In any event ok bit there are better choices just down the street.

Food was great but i felt some type of way because im black and visited with someone who have special needs waitress did not introduce menu special of the day to me but even thoughh i was first customer of the day the second and third customer came in jessica the waitress introduce the specials on menu for today i felt discriminated against the other customers were Caucasian

This place has amazing food, especially the little neck clams and the wings which are my personal favorites. Great place for small groups to hang out in a quiet location. There is an outdoor patio for good weather and a bar indoors with sports on tv.

Sat out on the patio - large deck (no scenic view) - but it was very enjoyable! Lunchtime double lobster rolls served on New England style toasted rolls with house cut steak fries were delicious! Service as great!

Great little place for terrific seafood. Many ways to have clams and the lobster rolls are unbelievable. So tender and tasty and really a wonderful place.

Great food especially the fish and chips. Has a Montauk atmosphere. Clam Pizza is served with whole in shell clams.
