I am NOT an easy customer. I admit Im very picky and hard to please. I have gone everywhere in the state trying breakfast restaurants, and a few are good. My Breakfast House bats a 100%. For over a year and a half of coming here 3 or 4 times a month, the breakfast here has arrived to me perfect. Over-medium eggs are always perfect, the toast never burnt, the hash browns arent over fried and always made the good old-fashioned American way, the coffee always robust and fresh, the bacon completely cooked, and the other breakfast delights are always attractive and delicious. If youre picky like I am, you will pray the cook at My Breakfast House will stay working here for many years to come. There is no doubt that he went to culinary school!

Theyre are a handful of places in and near San Carlos where you can get a good breakfast, but this is easily one of my favorites. The omelets and benedicts are deliciously done, and anyone Ive brought here has loved everything else. However, their best feature is how great the service is. Theyre some of the nicest people youll meet.

Food was ok nothing to write home about. A bit on the pricey side but I guess thats what will happen when you raise the minimum wage. Service on the slow side. Especially when the greeter skips over your name, and doesnt say sorry or anything. probably waited an extra 15 min to be seated.

Just had fluffy buttermilk pancakes and eggs over easy, both were perfect. Reasonable prices. What really stands out is how fast the service is, both how fast our food came out (my companion had an omelette) and no delay in getting more coffee or the check. Perfect little local place!

Easily the best brunch place we have been to in San Carlos. There is usually a wait during weekends, but there is a good reason for it. Prices are nominal and service is good. I had a chicken omlette which was pretty darn good and I am definitely coming back.

Really enjoyed my breakfast omelet. The menu is similar to Bill of Faire, a place I frequented many years ago. The owner is very nice and walks the front of the house saying hello to regulars and welcoming new customers.
