Ok so let me start by saying the food was excellent. I had 2 Cakes 2 Eggs and meat, somewhat uncharacteristic of myself. I usually go for a fancy house platter or some specialty but today was different. The bacon was oh so good and the cakes fluffy with strawberries. Now why 2 star we had a group of 4 and we ordered at the counter and found a table and waited ..... and waited ..... and waited ..... and waited some more. My impatience was settling in I was super confused cause the restaurant wasnt that full and the table behind us was receiving their food. Wait ..... Wait.... Wait some more and finally the lady serving the other table says "are you guys still waiting?" Rushes to the back and about 5 min later comes back ..... with the wrong order!!! Mom was missing her mushrooms on her omelette, my brother and I didnt have strawberries on our cakes and my wife ..... her French toast was perfect cant mess that up I guess. So mom eats her omelette without shrooms and we get our strawberries cause duh cant have cakes without berries...... whatever! Once the dust settled our first bites were just enough to forget how long it took to get our food. The bacon melted in your mouth, the berries were very favorable, and the mt dew stung your cheeks. Id give a 2.5 but I cant since we were upset the food took so long we really couldnt sit and enjoy what we bought making the meal taste you know mahhh. I always change my reviews if the next experience is better but its 11:00 am and we got there at 9:10. I own a business myself and know how important it is to have good reviews as well as a Sterling reputation. I also realize that times get busy and we cant please everyone but I feel this needs to be addressed especially if you have a sit down place to eat. But keep the food up you have great product and thats hard to find now a days.

Just made it back from Bigboar BBQ. Have you ever just eat dinner at a restaurant and went directly looking for another restaurant? Unsatisfying!!! There is a market for it; if you prefer Sweet, Sweet, piled on more sweet. I MEAN SWEET IN A BAD WAY!!! What ever happened to our other taste buds? What about spicy, or sour, or even bitter? Yes, I do understand there is a market for that particular taste, and Im sorry, but the image of an obese couple who has been conditioned since the age of two that real food was supposed to taste like that. I thought I was in for a real treat with a special place that could complete with even mediocre Famous Daves. Im not saying that Famous Daves is amazing, just saying that it is the standard by which all BBQ or rated against. And BigBoar BBQ, will problably be going out of business soon if it loses its unique clientele.

The ribs were bathed in chili powder to the point of making you need your drink after every bite, the four sauces are all basically the same except the sweet which tastes like pure sugar, the sides are all bad- the fries were over cooked to the point of being hard to bite through - the coleslaw and potato salad both tasted like they were bought in bulk. All of these things together made it the worst dinner I have had in a long time. 1/5 stars dont waste your time or money trying.

BigBoar catered at the Centerville Curling Club. The ribs are fall off the bone , juicy and tasty. The blackened chicken was spicy but juicy. They serve a slightly sweet cabbage with red and green peppers and onions which was tasty (I usually prefer creamed). The buttered mashed potatoes were peppery.

Great food and the staff really cared about our meal. Highly recommend this place, as the pulled pork is super tasty and the sauces are delicious. Thank you for giving me confidence in a small town dining experience again. Way to go and hope you expand and keep this quality.

The ribs and mac & cheese are both very good and will get me to return. The rest of their meats (and their sauces/sides) are average. They know what they are doing, but nothing they do is especially out of the ordinary or makes it stick out from any old BBQ place.

Last night I was at a party catered by Big Boar BBQ and hooooly moly... The food was a show stealer! I have NEVER had such succulent and flavorful FALL OFF THE BONE ribs in my entire life. They didnt even need sauce! Unbelievable. Delicious.

I think theyve got great brisket. The baked beans and macaroni and cheese are good but I think the side portions are a bit small. The french fries are good and the portion size is good. The place is pretty neat with bbq-style décor.

Great BBQ. The portions are generous and the food is very flavorful. Prices might be a little on the high side but you arent going to get better BBQ locally. Dont miss the Buttermilk Pie! Worth the trip just for that.

Wonderful customer service every time weve gone and delicious food. My only complaint is that there is little room for strollers or highchairs. Its difficult to seat a family at the limited table space.

The restaurant was clean and had a nice feel. The food is excellent if you are looking for smoked meat. The smoke flavor is not too strong and their bbq sauces are great.
