Everything in the bakery is absolutely delicious. I try to eat gluten/grain/processed sugar free foods just to be healthier. The food here not just better for you, it tastes amazing. Not an acquired taste kind of thing like some gluten free foods - this stuff actually tastes better than the typical bakery full of bleached white flour, trans fats, oil, processed sugar foods. My favorites - Almond Cookies, Cashew Cookies, the new Apricot Black Fig Scones and the chocolate cupcakes with the raspberry on top. What could feel better than enjoying a delicious desert knowing it is low in carbs, high in protein, organic, contains high quality ingredients and is good for you.

Was in to buy (yet again) the lovely no-rye chips and was told about the new pizza crust. Purchased it and OMG better than anything Ive ever tasted before! Spread some basil pesto, veggies, spinach or arugula, little bits of pre cooked Italian sausage and chunks of low fat mozzarella. Finish w/fresh shredded basil after baked. This crust has 30+ grams of protein and you can tell immediately. Very tasty, very satisfying!!! p.s. My granddaughter loved her cupcake and the energy bites!!! Also, the Irish Soda scones are very, very tasty!

Like nothing Ive ever had before. First of all, the ambiance in there is so elegant, but you dont really notice it right away because your eyes are glued to the display case. I have issues with very sweet treats because I crash so hard a couple hours later from simple sugars. All of the bakery here is exquisitely perfect and utilizes natural complex sweeteners like maple sugar and natural fruits! The lemon bars, the fig and pistachio biscotti... Holey moley!!!

This is, by far, my favourite place in Milwaukee to grab sweets. The service is fantastic and it is so comforting knowing that I can eat/drink everything in the shop. Ill be stopping here every day before work instead of colectivo. The chili is fantastic and I loved the carrot cake cupcake. The price is spot-on and they have specials monday-friday! Extra tidbit of knowledge: the staff told me this is the only bakery of its kind in the nation!

We are lucky that Blooming Lotus is in Milwaukee! Everything I have tried has been great, and the staff is terrifically friendly. Its such a treat for people with dietary restrictions to walk into a bakery and feel like nothing is off limits. If you have food allergies, if you love someone who has food allergies, or if youre just interested in exploring a different but delicious style of bakery, you should give Blooming Lotus a visit.

Love this place! Great service and delicious treats. Its a Milwaukee must-see! You HAVE to taste the Scones and Apricot muffin, theres nothing in the world that tastes as heavenly. The cookies are also AMAZING! One of the best experience ever. Owner, Larry, is one of the most Gracious and Humble People Ive Ever Met. He is Genuine and cares for his customers. I cant wait to go back and try some of the Other Baked Goods.

This bakery is truly a treasure! Being 100% paleo for me wasnt hard but I sure missed the sweets that I used to indulge but his bakery has paleo desserts that let me treat myself without breaking the diet! So glad I found this bakery! Their desserts are absolutely breathtaking and better than the non-paleo versions! The owners are so nice and friendly too!

This place is amazing. My wife, who can eat anything, said that if any of the items we tried were presented side by side with gluten, or grain baked items, shed never have thought it was different. She preferred the items at Blooming Lotus. My daughter (11 years old) and I both cannot eat gluten and we loved everything about this place!

As someone who maintains a low carb diet, I had mostly given up on the notion of a bakery; Im so happy I was wrong. The owners are wonderful and happy to answer any questions, and the nut flour based baked goods are better than some traditional ones Ive had. Highly recommended, even if it is a bit on the expensive side.

This place is amazing!!! Even though Im on a very strict diet I was still able to find options here. I got the banana nut muffin and it was beautiful and tasty all at once. The service was great and the price was right. I cant wait to make this place a regular on my list.

Everything Ive tried here is tastes amazing, and it doesnt break the bank. I recommend it to all of my friends, and I know many people with food allergies or sensitives and this is an open option for them. Wish I could give higher than five stars.

Great place!!! So nice to have this as an option on the eastside. Great coffee, with coconut sugar offered as a sweetener (had never tried this). All of the baked goods Ive tried have been excellent. Highly recommended..
