Tonight my husband and I spent our last night together before his deployment at Pomodoro. Weve come in several times before and had great experiences. Tonight was my early Birthday dinner because of the hubby leaving the day before my actual birthday, and it was a dinner I wanted to feel special during and enjoy to the fullest. We ordered our usuals from our lovely waitress, Karen. She was so kind and asked us about where we were from and how long my husband had been stationed here (he was in uniform). In the middle of eating our main meals, she came over to check on us and said she hoped the group behind us hadnt been too noise and that the man had left us 20 dollars to put towards our meals! Thats the type of people who should be proud to pay I forward for no reason and out of no where. Later after we finished our meals, Karen came back over with the check and circled the total... $0.00!!!! She had told the manager about us and asked to have our meals paid for. I literally was almost in tears. Thank you Karen!! And thank you to the kind customer who helped with the $20 dollars. You both have no idea what that meant to me tonight. Its been a hard last few weeks, but you all made it must easier to enjoy tonight! Karen wouldnt accept our tip, so please tip her well if you see her here. I planned on tipping her well before we had any type of discounts. Shes awesome! Please tip her well if she waits on you!!!! And the food is SOOOO yummy!!!! I order the seafood medley with cream sauce everything and its amazing.

I eat out fairly often and usually dont post reviews, but this was one of the worst restaurant experiences I have ever had. The reason I have this two stars is because our waitress was really nice. We arrived at the restaurant on time for our reservation time, but still had to wait another 30 minutes to be seated. The restaurant is really loud and the tables were so close to each other that once seated, we couldnt move. Im still OK with this. It was dinner time on a Saturday night. The unfortunate part of the visit was that while we waited to be seated, I watched dish after dish go into the microwave, then come out and get thrown into the broiler with cheese on top. We also waited a long time for our food, at least 45 minutes, and the server never returned to offer more wine or refill or water. I paid $22.99 for my meal not including the price of wine and knowing it was microwaved and the pasta was not even made in house bothered me. I would expect more from a restaurant for that price. I suggest looking elsewhere where the quality of the food/service matches the price tag.

A few coworkers and I went here on a Friday night. We made reservations so we were seated immediately. We shared the antipasta platter which was delicious and perfect for a group of four to share. The staff kept our water glasses full, napkins and silverware fresh and our server Phil was on the ball despite it being a busy night. He did ask us if we wanted to order an appetizer ten minutes after we already ordered it but fortunately he did place the order and we all just laughed it off. Everyone was pleased with their entrees and overall it was a very pleasant dining experience. The only reason I do not give it a FIVE star rating is because I have dined at old Italian neighborhood spots that have a charm and menu that I dont think a west Coast city would appreciate. Bottom Line: This is my favorite Italian restaurant in Tacoma.

It seriously lacked flavor. I found hair in my food and our waitress was not on top of anything so we filled out a comment card about the hair and lack of the waitress being on top of things and the owner was kind enough to comp the meal on a gift card for us to try again. Second time sucked too. Food had no flavor( soup was good and the meatball had flavor) noodles were over cooked just... sad..... Drinks didnt stay full, lemonade was more of lemon water because there was sooo much ice in the cup. we waited for a good 10 minutes with our hands on the table payment card in hand and no one brought a bill. I left hungry, and thirsty

Atmosphere was nice as usual, staff is friendly like it always has been, prices increased a bit, so I was hoping maybe the food would have gotten more flavorful as to be worth the $$$, however the food has gotten much worse. The salad was ok but a bit heavy on vinegar, the wine and the soup were delicious, but over and over around the table, peoples entrees were just oily and aside from garlic, the flavor lacking. Thats not the amazing experience I remember coming here time to time over ten years back. I cook a far tastier Mediterranean dinner than what was served last I visited. Very displeased.

My wife and I stumbled upon this place by accident. Originally from Seattle, we are always impressed by the finds in Tacoma. Our first time here we camber just looking for dessert. Our server Elliot convinced us to try their special. Very good move. We came back three second time today about 6 months later to find Elliott to serve us and remember us from our first visit. Recommend to everyone that loves good Italian food from a quaint restaurant.

They rave about service on there website as being number one priority. We sat at the bar for 15 minutes, waiters, what appeared to be a manager and a kid with a t shirt and baseball cap on back words walk by us multiple times without a simple hello. This was @ 5 pm on a saturday. Not real busy and would not want to be ignored on a busy night. We left and never got noticed. I went to there website to send a email, no email posted available.

We took our best friends here last night. Theyre mad that we waited so long to tell them about the place. Been eating here for years and have never had a bad meal. The one time there was a problem (they brought me the wrong entree, similar, but wrong), it was free. The house made blue cheese dressing is wonderful as is the roasted garlic butter that comes with the bread. Try the Kahlua Chocolate Mousse Cake, if you have room.

Nice restaurant and bar on the little strip on proctor street. Reminds me of the main streets of Poulsbo and ferry area of West bremerton. Place was loud, but it would be worth a visit especially a date night like when my wife and I went...service was great prices were reasonable along with portion...order streak and the halibut and pasta was cooked perfect, my evening was perfect when I was here. I recommend this place.

We walked in, waited 15 minutes to be seated, not because it was busy, there were maybe 3 tables of people, they just werent paying attention. Once we were finally seated we waited for 20 minutes and no one even brought us water or said they would be with us in a minute or anything. We finally left after waiting because we werent going to spend $20 a person after waiting that long and having such poor customer service..
