the Hispanic supervisor at this store called police on my husband when he tried to cancel order: a BD ice cream cake. She refused to return our money $40 or give him a cake after the police came. She said, she has the right to do it. Even though the owner of the store told her to give my husband a store credit after restocking fee applied. the whole story started like this: 2 days before my sons BD, I called and requested to cancel order r/t the cake maybe melt at the skating center. She said the cake wont melt and didnt allow me to cancel it. My husband went to the store and talked to her about it; I guessed talking back and forth and finally she called the cop on him. The next day, my husband called the owner again. He said he will bring out the cake for us on the day we ordered (we cant go into the store because we got ban from the police). That day, he brought out my son cake with other kids name on it (that meant she sold our cake to someone else); we told him that was not my son name. So, he brought that cake back to the store. 10 minutes later, he brought out another cake, not decorated as the way I asked; only has my son name on it. We were late for the party. only 1 hr 20 minutes from the time we picked up the cake at the store, the cake melted (even the cake stored in the frid at skating center), ...so we have to hurry to scoop the cake to everybody (dont need a knife to cut cuz too melting already)..my son didnt have a chance to blow candles on his BD cake...still upset with the way that lady treated us and ruined my sons BD....Ive been customer at that store for at least 7-8 years, and every year, I ordered at least 1-2 cake...that how they treated customer...Its not that we got ban from coming the store...Its that who still want to come in after this rudeness.

i am a somewhat regular customer. i went on 07/07/2016 and also three visits within the past four months. i am acquainted with the family which used to own the dq at burien several years ago. the youngest man of family owns or manages this dq now. i was waiting for order and one of the girls was helping the trainee. she got one of the swirl in dish and the owner comes out and says wait wait wait what is this. they go around corner and he took it from her and threw it away. it was properly filled cause of high price. she walked away to help someone else. i wanted to tell him here in america food and drinks is fill it to get what you pay for. i did not because he seems argumentative type. i ended up with entire ice cream orders with small servings of teaspoon dollups and not sure i will return because he is cheapskate. he fills orders with ice cream containers and dishes with small dollups and charges expensive price. the prices on menu for burgers are expensive for small sizes too. the servings of ice cream are under the weighed recommendation. that is why i strongly advocate to "getting moneys worth". there are several restaurants in the area that are same. they refuse to give what customers pay for. it appears he does not read reviews and does not care because i see no responses.

It was a busy friday night going through the drive thru. It took 20 minutes to get out of there. The commercials say it is not fast food because of the quality of it. Well, the quality sucked. They gave us burnt french fries. No ice in our drinks. No straws or napkins either. My husband ordered a flame thrower burger and they gave him a flame thrower chicken sandwich. There was another day earlier in the year that we went into the restaurant to eat and I asked for my gravy that comes with the chicken strip basket and the lady working at that time told me that they dont give out gravy in the baskets. Although, today I got gravy. Lame!

Ive never been disappointed before at this location. But tonight was the night! Went there, they werent busy at all (around 8:30pm). My boyfriend ordered a banana split and I ordered a small strawberry sundae. The banana split had minimal pineapple, strawberry, and just a drop of chocolate sauce. He wa not happy. It was all mostly vanilla soft serve ice cream with bananas and no syrup. My strawberry sundae had maybe two bites of strawberry and a tiny bit of syrup, mostly ice cream. Horrible!!!

I dont know why we come here. Service is always very slow, not good quality and they are frequently out of ingredients. We usually order chocolate milkshakes and we usually end up getting a milkshake that is light beige in color. That is one of my pet peeves, chocolate anything should be the color of chocolate. Anyways, the drive thru speaker is ridiculous. I cannot understand a word being said. Im not sure they can either. I just say what I want and hope they get it right.

Drive thru is a joke... gets backed up quickly. You would think that when someone pulls up to the intercom they would at least say "Hi we will be right with you"... instead they say nothing making you think the com is possibly broken. Next, after waiting forever I get home and the 2 blizzards are not mixed very well at all... only the top was mixed leaving the 2nd half of the blizzard just vanilla ice cream... pretty disappointing after paying $4 dollars.

I was staying at a motel nearby my boyfriend went and got dinner he got $27.15 worth of food from this Dairy Queen he got back to our room open the bag there was no spoons no condiments for the food, I was unable to eat my blizzard I am NOT very happy because the employees that run this Dairy Queen close to closing they really dont care we could have went to Jack in the Box and spent 10 bucks and got more food and had better service

Horrible service tonight. I pulled up at the drive thru and it took about 30 mins literally to get a small blizzard. Then when I get up to the drive thru I pay my money and have to wait ten minutes to get a blizzard because they took my money and forgot to make my blizzard and give it to me. I dont like to complain but this was called for. The drive they lined was backed up and they walking around dragging they feet smh

Couldnt hear us because of bad headsets? More like speak up sonny I cant hear u from 2 ft away. We go through the drive though and we order 2 hot fudge banana shakes 1 small and 1 medium. She repeated 1 small and 1 large. And she blames the headset and says we need to be closer. How closer do I have to be do I have kiss the microphone to talk to u. Fix youre audio headphones and speaker so you can hear us.

Ive only been through the drive-thru... the line can be long/slow during popular times and the speaker is hard to hear through but our order is always correct and it tastes like normal DQ ice cream. I can never tell about the staff...they arent mean, but they are not usually particularly friendly either! Cant say it is outstanding but it isnt so bad that Id never go there either!
