this is not really mexican food texmex at its worst way to much salt in there food there service I mean the lack of service is discraceful the waiters ect seem more attentive to the big parties in this place than the smaller groups I filt completly ignord in this place and it only had 1 party of 10 and me my wife granted we were in the bar but that shouldent mater the drinks were good but took for ever to get we waited 40 minutes to get our food that never came I told the waitress to forget it and she actually said if you wait ill see if its ready you can take it to go way stuipied isnt that defeating the purpose of me coming here?the bar tender is as at fault as the waitress he walked past us about five times and didnt say a thing to us I had to flag down a bus boy to get more salsa I paid for my drinks even though I was told by manager that it was on house just to let him know I just wasnt complaining to get out of paying a bill the manager was good he asked if I would give them another try and speak to him directly. if you are looking for a good texmex go to chevy if you are looking for authentic mex go to GALERIAS on capital hill on 12th broadway

I love Aztecs but the one that was near 520 closed :( So came to this one with my family a group of 14 and the service was horrible! Came in and didnt even get greeted she just looked at me and I told her we are a group of 14 then had to keep asking for thing like extra napkins ect. Had to ask to make separate checks at the last min when she came with a check with everyones order together that was not the worst part once we told her we wanted separate checks she gave an attitude about it and made it our fault we didnt tell her since the beginning ummm... Sorry honey I have bin to many different restaurants and the waiter always ask when a big group comes in before hand if its all in one check or different checks. Then another lady takes over because the other one got mad and my dad I law tells her about the incident and she also gets all worked up about it and says its our responsibility not theirs umm.. Ok never conning to this one again ever I rather drive far to avoid this place that deserves my money $$$$ AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

My family and I were looking for a place to have dinner and found this place near the Hotel we stayed in, The place looked nice and clean and based on reviews it appeared to be like a good choice. Well the hostess was more interested in her conversation with another employee so she took her time sitting us the decor was much like "El Torito" If you are not familiar with it , It is another American version of a Mexican Restaurant in California they took about 5 minutes to bring the menus and they took about 15 minutes to bring the drinks and take our order, The food took about half an hour to be served and the servers were not the friendliest. The food was very industrial, Not original or traditional Mexican food! I know because I was born and raised in Mexico and Im sorry that is not even close to being good it tasted like something out of a can. The bill was high and I mean $175 including tip and only three of us had one alcoholic beverage each. Honestly if you want good food and service go elsewhere. So disappointed!

Went here for lunch. Ordered takeout: a fajita burrito with chicken. Somehow in the four minute drive to my office, the burrito got pretty cold because when I opened it, the thing was luke warm. The whole onion that was cut up and thrown in was NOT cooked-it was absolutely raw. The chicken looked like it was pre-cooked and then put on a grill for thirty seconds and was, as you can guess, luke warm. The chips that came with the food were the only things that were still warm (how in the world?) but once I excitedly crunched into one, I discovered they tasted stale...like...old? How can freshly cooked chips taste stale? The guacamole and sour cream were the only thing that came as I expected. Sadly I will never again go to this place. I love Mexican food too much to go through that ever again! :(

This place is amazing. We were staying at the hotel right next to here because of my graduation the next day so we decided to eat here for dinner and my mom does not like most mexican resturaunts but she loved this place. The food was so yummy and the atmosphere is great. Really beautiful building inside. The only problem for us was that the waitor we had wasnt so friendly and didnt really speak to us and ask us questions like about what we wanted with our meals (like the side items) Never asked if we wanted dessert just brought the check, so we had to send him back to get us dessert and re-do the receipt. So that was the only downside but other than that it was amazing and so glad we found this place. We will for sure go back when we are in the area.

The waiter on staff on 7-7 around 10:00 pm was an ass.... Maybe he had bad night , dont know I came in for a Drink and something eat. My meal was 20.85 cents. I gave him $30.00 dollars and he thought me back 8.00 and kept the 15cents. However, I was going to leave the man 30 percent tip, but he was very short amd rude the entire time m So I ask about my change and he said oh you want your 15cents , here iiis and threw a $1:00 @ me at the table and said here your 15cents. So be being from the mid West I ate his brown ass....up.. Ill will never ever eat heAr and will ensure my company will never order food from this Mex restaurant again. Now thats worth 15 cents

Came here with my family for my grandfathers birthday. Things were going well until I found a FINGERNAIL in my food. I spoke with our server and apparently he was also the manager as well, he tried to tell me what I had found was simply part of the French fries. As if finding a fingernail in my food wasnt enough, I had to listen to this guy tell me this fingernail was part of my French fries. I will never return to this establishment as long as I live. Emailed the owner and Corporate offices with absolutely no response. Apparently this kind of thing is considered acceptable.

The food is good but the service stinks and is in need of serious overhaul. Unfortunately each time my wife and I have been here over the last 2 years service has progressively gotten worse. Tonight was probably our last visit here, it was pretty much empty and we had to wait for an "open" table. We never got ice water that we asked for, and after we finally got our food our waitress Teresa never checked in with us until we finally got tired of waiting for our check and started to get up to ask the hostess for the manager.
