There was no other place I could conceivably go on Pi Day. It was worth every penny! The staff has a great sense of humor and the space is very aesthetic. The cottage pie (shepherds pie with minced beef instead of lamb (yes, shepherds pie is supposed to have lamb... my mind is blown too)) was irrationally delicious. If you like eating pie and watching the train, this is the place for you.

Brought my British husband to check out the pies and they were amazing. The pastry is perfect-light and not too sweet or over powering. We had one each of the lamb, potato and beef and mushroom pies, as well as the curried vegetable pasties and rhubarb hand pies. Amazing! Thankful our daughter lives nearby and can deliver on her visits!!

Meat pies were really tasty. Such a good crust. A bit on the pricey side since everything is a la carte, even just a few chips or something on the side with the pie would have been a more satisfying lunch. I will return to try something sweet though.

The chicken leek pie was a perfectly seasoned, perfectly balanced delectable delight! I cant wait to try all their meat and vegetable pies. Next time I will eat in to be able to enjoy their cider bar. And the strawberry rhubarb pie was yummy!

I love this place - especially their soups, salads and sides - oh, and their chocolate pudding. This guy is great with salads. I have two wishes: more vegan options and that they would stay open till at least 7:00 PM. Please, please, please.

Great food. Best pie crust I have had - flakey and full of butter. These pies, both savory and sweet, are not mass produced and you can taste the difference.
