You know what makes downtown Saint Albans cool? Places like The Traveled Cup! No, its not a diner. No, its not a deli. No, its not ANOTHER bar. Its a real-deal, fresh-roasted, sit and relax coffee shop! Walking in, right away youll smell the coffee, hear the tunes filling the space, see various customers sitting with others, sitting alone, relaxed and happy with their cups of delicious coffee. Its got comfy chairs facing the street, its got long tables for groups to chat, its got high tables to sit alone at and read the paper or a book. Its got books! Its got games! Plus a couple small tables out front if the weather permits. Its just the perfect space to spend time and sip. How about that coffee? Always well brewed and tastes great. You can get espresso drinks too or tea if youd prefer. They offer local beer selections and wine as well. Little snacks are always ready and prepared from scones to croissant sandwiches. Little sweet bars or cookies also sit at the counter, tugging at your appetite! How could it possibly be better? I know they sometimes do live music but Id like to see more of that available in the mornings or daytime (maybe weekends?). They should try opening up more short term coffee specials or menu ideas to try from time to time. But Im not really complaining here. You have to try this little spot for yourself. Stay cool Saint Albans. Drink more coffee.

What a lovely place! An undiscovered gem with gimme made food right in the kitchen. The smells that come out of the kitchen is enough to make anyone feel hungry. The floor is old baseboard that the owner installed herself (her fiance) and everywhere is comfortable places to sit! The coffee is wonderful (I had a coconut coffee) and the tea is served in giant colorful teapots!

The service and the environment is great! Went with my toddler and was surprised to see they had some toys and books for him to play with while I enjoyed a wonderful quiche and coffee. My toddler enjoyed his pancake that was served with maple syrup.

Charming place, friendly staff, amazing coffee and cozy atmosphere. Hannahs soups and salads alone are worth the trip, but the huge selection of teas and locally roasted coffees will make you never want to leave.

Had to work all day and was staying at a cottage with no wifi for the weekend. Service, coffee, and other patrons were all excellent. Check out the used bookstore just down the street if you have time.

This is my FAVORITE place for coffee in Saint Albans. The staff is always friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxed. I highly recommend any of their baked goods, Ive never been disappointed.
