I have enjoyed this coffee shop always, but after leaving a bad review because of personal attributes and then being threatened for leaving a bad review here I am leaving another one. I was told I could be legally held responsible for my review because it can hurt the business, but this makes me wonder where is free speech when you are being legally threatened and what is the point of reviews in the first place? I will not be returning, and the manager of the company needs a reality check that you cant keep filing lawsuits and threatening people with legal trouble because you did not like the review left on google. As this is why people leave reviews (so that you can better your business). I have left a photo below, and removed my first review (like I was asked) and I have left this new one in placement of it because I cannot get legally in trouble for my opinion of a place.

Im really bumbed . I like to treat my self with a Bad Ass flavored coffee about once a week and there amazing ! So you could say Im a regular well last time I went there there was a man Ive never seen before working by him self. I asked for the carma vanilla iced coffee and he never asked if I wanted whip cream witch I do and I was kinda in a hurry so by the time I tasted my favorite drink I was already driving down the road . I almost barfed my first sip back up . It tasted like a salty flat iced Diet Coke and kind of a Chemical taste to it it was the worst thing Ive over drank . . After wasting 10 bucks with the drink and tip included I wont be going back there. .

First timer and just passing through Salt Lake City. I am a barista with 6 years experience in small town coffee shops and Bad Ass Coffee was delicious. I had the 100% Kona brew. I love Hawaiian coffee for its incredibly smooth and rich taste. This coffee does not disappoint. The prices are super reasonable for the quality of the drinks. The atmosphere is fun, colorful, and yet relaxing. Im a tough critic and I was quite pleased with this coffee shop. I wanted another full cup! I also appreciate having access to wonderful Hawaiian Kona coffee. Thank you for the experience Bad Ass Coffee! P.S. I love your name and story.

Have been a loyal customer of the other guys for forever. Tired of them trying to pass their Anniversary Blend off as a dark roast. Not happy with having to pay for added shot for flavor. Visiting here from Arizona and googled coffee shop. I have been to Bad Ass Coffee in Hawaii and loved it. So excited to find them in SLC. Coffee was delicious and reasonably priced. Staff was exceptional. I passed 2 SBs on the way. It was sooo worth it. Definitely going again.

Monkey Mocha or the toasted is by far the best coffee I have had. They offer the best and freshest coffee around. If it does not fit your taste buds they offer bags if coffee from the best grown locations from around the world, right in store to take home and enjoy from your comfortable home! I love it here and the palm tree in the middle of the dining room floor takes me to a whole new level with my coffee! Kona baby

Not your average hipster coffee shop, Bad Ass Coffee has a great selection of hot and cold coffee drinks, tea, and Italian sodas. The staff here is great, but not fake-friendly, and the customers are apparently loyal and are greeted by first name. The breakfast menu is limited, and could benefit from an avocado and tomato option alongside the ham, bacon, and sausage options. But, the drinks will not disappoint.

I like this place. Inside has the Hawaiian atmosphere that is hard to see in Utah. Later, I could have an opportunity to visit Hawaii island(also called BIG ISLAND) that is the place originally their coffee coming from. That is really wonderful large island that I like the scenery, there. It is good to visit the coffee shop and feel the atmosphere very different from here, sometimes.

The place was busy with only one person working and my "everything" bagel had next to nothing on it. Myself, My wife and my friend were all in agreement that the food was ridiculously bad and ill prepared. Evidently the other person working felt the need to go to Costco. Coffee was good tho....I was hoping for a good coffee and a decent bite but only expect the coffee to be decent.

In the past, I have had awesome experiences here. I went in today and the barista was friendly, but the chai latte I got was sickeningly sweet. I had to go home and add a cup of milk to it to make it drinkable. I also wanted to hang out and study there but I ended up having to leave because the baristas were talking so loud to each other.

I used to come here regularly when it was the only coffee shop on my route. I always got good service, the place was always crowded, and people seemed to really like the coffee. I must have an issue with Kona coffee, because I cannot handle the cloying mouth feel of the coffee, like a coat of grease you cant get out of your mouth. Blech.

Stopped here during a cross country road trip. If youre into some Bad Ass coffee and flowing through the Salt Lake City area, do yourself a favor and stop into Bad Ass Coffee. Right off of I-15, easy to find, very high quality brews. I had a blended Bad Ass Mocha, and it was on point for sticking it to their arid sun. A travellers must.

Been there recently with several friends for some short meet up, it was awesome, I loved the atmosphere and their mochas WAS totally bad ass, that it kept me up. So if youre sick of Starbucks, this is the place for you. Or if thats not good enough, well...................go to another coffee house then.
