We just had the Layton Sub Zero cater our wedding and it was amazing! We worked with Jamie and she went above and beyond to make sure our experience was positive from start to finish. I had spoken with other companies and not treated really well, Jamie was helpful and enthusiastic thru the whole process. They kept the guests happy at the reception and treated everyone with a smile! I was so happy with their service, the quality, and the fun experience of having the ice cream frozen right in front of our guests, plus they cleaned up everything when we were done! Got lots of compliments! Thanks Jamie and staff for the wonderful service! I highly recommend them!

First off I love this place. Amazing ice cream tons of flavors and options. I also go often. But Im giving this a 1 star because everytime (aprox 15 times) I go, there is always a point during the freezing process that the Sub Zero employee blows air with their mouth onto your food. They blow the cloud of mist created during the freezing process so they can see better? I cant imagine this is a safe health practice. Its funny too because they all do it. And they try to hide that they do it. Just watch. But the ice cream is so good I keep going back. But it bothers me each time. Maybe next time I will ask them to hold the germs? Lol

This place is kind of pricy, (expect 5-8 bucks a person) but the experience and the customization is worth it. They use liquid nitrogen to literally make the ice cream right in front of you, to your specifications (Softness, hardness, milk type and fat content,etc) . The first time I visited I had Doctor Pepper flavored ice cream, the second time I had Tigers Blood Ice cream. Its something you have to try at least once.

We happened to stumble upon this place after a movie in Layton - it was fantastic! The employees were great with my kids and even gave them a quick science lesson on nitrogen! They use the nitrogen to freeze your ice cream, and it is made in about five seconds right in front of you. My kids loved feeling the cold fog come off the nitrogen and have been asking to go back everyday for a week! Great idea for family night!

The ice cream "flavors" were gross. I ordered sugar-free ice cream with fruit and they gave me the pump instead of the actual fruit, I said something and they shrugged me off. I thought "Oh well" and bought it anyway. My whole group of 5 aside from 1 didnt like our ice cream in the slightest and we all tossed it on the way out.

I love this place! Watching them freeze the ice cream with liquid nitrogen is honestly my favorite part. A ton of variety with the ice cream with truly endless possibilities. The ice cream is a little more expensive than other places but its definitely a lot higher quality. Definitely will be coming back!

Tried their Ice Cream for the first time while visiting Salt Lake City and fell in love with it. Went back daily for the reminder of my week long visit. Very tasty, but seems to be without the high fat content of competitors. Looked up Locator for other stores near my home in LA to make future visits

Their ice cream is my favorite! I prefer thicker ice cream to the super fluffy stuff, so this place is perfect. The flavors are unique and delicious. And its really fun to watch them mix and freeze the cream. I highly recommend this place and hope someday Logan will get one again!

Loud and rowdy teenage crowd that were friends with the staff was in line in front of us. The staff seemed more concerned about talking with their friends than doing the job. After waiting more than 10 minutes for 3 people to be served, we left.

This was a really neat experience. The staff was nice and was willing to answer any questions I had. It was pretty slow though, but I still enjoyed the experience. The food was good, the place was clean, and it was just a good time.

They helped me make a custom flavor shake; told me what flavors would mesh well. Only thing I hope they improve is that they get steamers like other sub zeros Ive been to. (Steamers are delicious if you havent havent had one.)

Went there to apply for a job and tried out a watermelon smoothie. It was delicious! I sat and watched the employee to see how it would be working there and it seemed like a very fun atmosphere and a pleasant place all around.

We love Sub Zero! You cant beat the variety or quality of the ice cream. There are a million+ possible flavor combinations. It does take a few minutes, but it is worth it every time. Plus, you know, liquid nitrogen!
