Ok, first time at the Butcher Board for some sandwiches - LOVED it! I ordered the Whole Hog - pulled pork, honey glazed ham AND bacon - seriously! My son ordered the Club. Both were outstanding. Want to go back and try the Texas Cuban, the Smoked Brisket and the Meatball Loaf. The sides were great - you can get chips, potato salad, pasta salad or coleslaw - I got the coleslaw and it was really good. They also have some good looking tacos and a chili dog...plus, the cookies are incredible! Great place - you have to try it if youre nearby!

We love this place!. Since we discovered it we have gone back again and again until now we have had all but two of their sandwiches. Fabulous scratch kitchen. This place does it right. They have an eclectic menu with different takes on sandwiches. They also have a hidden menu with a few items as well that you wont see on the menu displays. Most notably is the Grilled Cheese Sandwich.. Again - fabulous.. Between Butcher Board and the companion dining place next door - Sugar Bacon, there arent many reasons to go elsewhere.

Thanks a lot Butcher Board, you have ruined all other sandwiches for me! First with a club sandwich better than I thought any club could ever be, and now the BLT. Beef bacon so delicious it should be a crime to consume and I feel a sense of guilt after having eaten this sandwich, because surely something so pleasurable should be a sin. I dont know what magic you have working behind that counter, but I do know it has created the best thing between two slices of bread I have ever eaten.

Amazing! If youre going to the Historic Downtown in McKinney, eat here. Everyone at our table tried something different, and all loved their food. I highly recommend the smoked turkey sandwich. SO GOOD! The staff were really friendly as well. We didnt know that they closed at 3 on that day, and the time was 2:50. They didnt mind and let us order and take our time to eat. We didnt feel rushed at all. I will be eating there frequently!

This is your local sandwich place. Owned by the same people who run sugar bacon, this place does sandwiched right. Great meat, already fresh ingredients combined in a delicious way. They also have daily special sandwiches on their "secret menu". You can also grab some sweet treats here or a draft beer. Family friendly and always a hit with guests, if you hadnt been go today!

GREAT LOOKING PLACE. FOOD IS PRICEY . OUR FOOD WAS NOT GOOD. #7 WAS ORDERED WHICH WAS RECOMMENDED BY THE STAFF. BACON WAS RAW. COULD NOT BE EATEN. BROUGHT MORE BACON AND IT WAS SO OVER COOKED IT CRUMBLED ON TOUCH. WILL NOT GO BACK. WE HAD 3 SANDWICHES AND ICE TEA. $50 TAG FOR FOOD WE COULD NOT EAT.

The butcher board has top of the line meat offerings for their sandwiches that are actually cooked in house. They will also let you order a meat plate just like a barbecue place if youre like me and prefer to cut straight to the chase. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly as well.

I make a damn good Cuban sandwich at home using Bread-n-Butter pickles. Butcher Boards is better! Excellent sandwiches and salads at a respectable price. Ill be back! --Next visit was great! Chili rubbed turkey breast sandwich is wonderful.

Great sandwiches in quaint location. Had their special brisket sandwich which was a home run! Traffic was not bad in the restaurant at 11:30 or so, but started building around noon. Parking was not of a bear too...

The chili rubbed turkey might be the best hot sandwich Ive ever had. My only complaint is that the experience is over too quickly. A bit on the pricey side but its not a bad value when you consider the quality.

Love the food, cant stand the service. Literally standing in line when the clock hits 3pm during a McKinney Square festival that goes until 5. Told at the register that theyre closed and cant/wont serve us.

Fantastic sandwiches! A little on the pricier side. I appreciated when they told me that the roast beef didnt meet their internal quality, affecting the taste of the sandwich, so they werent serving it.

Loved the food and the atmosphere, but just whish more people new about it. The lunch rush is ridiculous but dinner time is perfect for anyone wanting a great meaty sandwich without the line.

Excellent atmosphere and the service was great. I had the roast beef and it was very tasty. My wife got the Cuban and it too was very good. Excellent place for a relaxed lunch or dinner.
