Another one bites the dust... The owner used to serve good, cheap Vietnamese sandwiches. It appears he stuck some "uncaring kids" in there to run the business for him. BAD MOVE!! He also raised the prices from $3.50 to $5.00. I ordered the sandwich. After waiting TEN minutes (usually takes two), an angry-looking kid brings me my sandwich. (it kind of pissed me off. No smiles, no personality. Just a snarl and "heres your sandwich".) WTH?? I examined the food and noticed large chunks of fat hanging off the pork. I spent a few minutes sifting through the sandwich, stripping away the fat. I then began to eat the sandwich. Right away, I noticed it was cold and the flavor was WAY off. I dont know what they did, but the recipe is definitely different. After finishing the sandwich, I realized this place wasnt anything like it was 6 month ago. If this is the owners idea of progress, Im SO not impressed. As if that werent bad enough, they had two water jugs out on the counter (like they always do). Both were nearly empty and warm. One of them was yellowed (obviously, left over lemon water that NO ONE bothered to change - holy crap - left over lemon water from yesterday - What the HELL were they thinking?). The other jug was clear water. It tasted ok, but I only got a small amount because I knew it was also left over from yesterday and was wary of it. What happened to the ice water they used to serve? WTH?? Why do businesses pull crap like this and think they wont chase away customers? SOOOO freakin stupid. Anyway... I wont be back.

me encanto el lugar toda la comida esta deliciosa pero en especial me gusto mas los smoothies y el arroz frito me agrada los cambios que esta haciendo el dueño en cuanto al menu el lugar es muy limpio y agradable el personal es muy atento y agradable sobre todo el encargado (Boris) ya que me dio muy buen servicio definitivamente vuelvo mas seguido lo recomiendo al 100% un ambiente agradable y familiar

I dont know the plate I ordered but I pointed at the picture and told them the number. When I received my order it was only half of the items. I thought maybe they made a mistake. The lady told me its the right one but they dont have the rest of the items. I gave it back and just ordered a grilled pork sandwich. My wife had pho. They took it to another table. It took them over 20 minutes to bring her another one. The place was not full either. Only 3 tables had people eating during the time we were there.

Product: 4 dollar drinks that is mostly ice. Service: I came here to take a break and drink while I waited for a meeting, since there was not a Starbucks around. I stayed for about 30 minutes and the manager kicked me out just for being on my computer. Reason "to make space. However", the seats were not even 1/3 full and it was just after 11am. I would keep away from this place if you come for a drink, you will get a glare and kicked out if you overstay your "visit".

Been here a lot... this is not my first time! However, recently they put a few guys in the front/cashier/taking orders, none of them can smile or greet the customers. This place has changed for the worst. I have recently been back for more sandwiches and Im telling you its been great. They got rid of all the unfriendly guys and the 2 ladies there now is always nice and friendly. Will be sending more people there. 6/12/2016

Sandwiches here are pretty good but they do cater to non Vietnamese people in the area and you can see that reflected in their menu. They do a good job of keeping both traditional Vietnamese deliciousness while also pleasing the palates of non viets.

You might not find a fancy place with candles on the table or tuxedo-dressed waiters...but these viet-sandwiches rock!!! Very addictive taste. If you need a protein loaded one order the s9....Sautee pork with scrambled egg and you will be in heaven!

Just checked it out for the first time. Great sandwiches for four bucks a pop. Owner/Manager was really nice, even though I came in past their closing time (sorry, didnt know).

If you arent in the Bellaire area, this is a great alternative for Vietnamese sandwiches, and this is coming from a Vietnamese guy. Get the BBQ pork with egg. You wont regret it
