I just had my wedding at Welfare Cafe and it was simply amazing! The staff was incredible. Gabys food is awesome and everyone raved about it! I was told by several guests that it was by far the best wedding food they had ever had. The venue looked beautiful. Chevin worked hard to make sure that everything went smoothly and I can honestly say that there was not a single glitch.I would definitely recommend Welfare Cafe for youe special day.

So delicious. any time we in the area we go there. Yes, service is slow as mentioned in other reviews, but they are cooking everything from scratch and even come out to pluck fresh herbs from their herb garden to prepare your meal. I love the veggie enchiladas and the beef tenderloin. So awesome! And what a cool place to enjoy a great Hill Country day!

Charming place with great food and good german beer selection. Staff is super friendly and the setting is just so peaceful. Great place to get away from the city and your worries and just relax. Friends are getting married here in the fall and it seems like it will be a great venue and the owner is very friendly and helpful.

Highly recommend for not only casual dinning but for events! We recently had a wedding there and it turned out beautifully! The Welfare Cafe team exceeded our expectations with superior service and they went above and beyond to ensure a smooth event rain or shine. I couldnt have asked for a better venue and catering service!

European cuisine at a fair price .... laid back relaxed atmosphere. Staff is attentive but not overbearing. Schnitzels are the best outside Germany! If you want a relaxed, fine dining experience, this is the place. If youre in a hurry, you need to go somewhere else!

Amazing Hill Country location. Fantastic food in a rustic setting. You can dine all fresco, or inside. Very fresh, locally sourced choices prepared by a talented chef. Impressive wine list. Perfect for special occasions. Upscale food, with a casual feel.
