Gluten free buckwheat pancakes and tasty GF toast. Although their menu offers GF items, there is an addendum that states their items may become cross contaminated during the cooking process. As a Celiac, I lead with my Olfactory nerves instead of common sense, then went ahead to order the big breakfast, which turns out is too much food for 1 person. The 2 pancakes were the size of a dinner plates, looking fluffy and delectable. The eggs and bacon on their own plate as well were made to order, perfectly over medium, with delicious GF toast. It may have been canyon bread. Not sure. And yes I did eat the whole thing. I was happy to say I felt wonderful all day and so did my full belly. My husband ordered the Western omelet and was equally pleased. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is for 2 reasons: first- we had to wave down a waitress to serve us at the counter (we chose this versus a table to lessen the huge wait on a rainy day) and secondly the wait to get a cup or coffee and order. Small place that seems to be a local favorite. The poor wait staff were running ragged, but kept their smiles. Of course the kitchen forgot to cook a tables order and after an hour wait they stormed out. We had a lovely time and waited not long for our food...

I went with my friend and we ordered 2 chicken cutlet sandwiches. What I was expecting was a nice, thick hand breaded chicken breast over a hot bun with the fixings. What we received was 2 chicken patty sandwiches; similar to the ones I remember eating in elementary school. For 2 of these and 2 coffees the bill was over $20. Not a place I would frequent.

We Love going to The Breakfast Nook. Its a comfortable hometown place to eat. My very very favorite is the Mashed Potato Omelette. With mushrooms and cheese. And we love having booths to sit at. Easy to talk with whomever youre with or be comfortable if youre alone. Its our go to breakfast nook. We are locals! And we love the Service and Servers.

I have been looking for a nice breakfast place for a while now, and I found it in The Breakfast Nook! I absolutely loved it. The food is cooked perfectly and the selection is wonderful! Carol was a friendly, attentive and kind waitress! My experience will definitely bring me back to the restaurant. The decor makes it feel like home!

This place is low. Stopped in here for breakfast on an early Saturday morning. The only waitress and the obviously hungover and loud cook were arguing throughout my meal. The food was lukewarm at best and very sloppy. The potatoes were soggy, the sausage wet and limp, and the eggs rubbery. Toast was burnt. Will never be back.

Still the BEST Eggs Benedict ever! What sets theirs apart from the rest? Im glad you asked. They slip a slice of Swiss cheese on the English muffin, plus if you ask they will grill the English muffin... And their hollandaise sauce is off the hook delicious YUM!

Typical breakfast and lunch place, but be aware. Chicken cutlet is a ground chicken patty and honey mustard sauce is a mustard in a bottle. Home fries are greasy. Should rewrite the menu as it is false advertising. Will not visit again.

Hands down best service, food and over all dining experience Ive had in a while! I live over an hour away so Ive only gone twice and both times the food and service was amazing! If I lived closer I would be a regular for sure.

I got the breakfast special and to be honest it was sub par. The bacon wasnt crispy, I ordered medium eggs and I definitely got easy. But other than that it was great. The service was lovely, its a real family atmosphere.

This is where year round locals choose to eat. Prices are very reasonable and quality of food is consistent. Portions are good. My only disappointment is when tourists are in town and I cant get in.

Kiddie breakfast is $2.95 and enough to fill my 7, 8, and even 10 year old... And includes juice and delicious quality food. Prompt and kind service to boot. A southern RI mainstay for good reason!

Loved it. You would be doing yourself a disservice to not visit this establishment. The food, the people, the French toast sticks. What more is there to say!
