The reason i gaved it one Star is because the server was very nice to us. My mom came all the way from Florida and asked me to bring her somewhere to go get her favorite Pistachio Ice Cream. I paid for a half gallon of pistachio Ice Cream and cupe and spoon. Mom decided to seat outside the patio to eat the ice cream. A server came out and asked MY MOM, MY FRIEND AND I to leaved THE PATIO because its for dine in only. I paid for the ice cream and this is how he treated us. They guy came less then a minute later to asked us if we are leaving yet. I think this is unexceptable. I am freaken heated right now. I had to Pack my ice cream and leave the patio and go seat across under the gazebo.

I walked in to Newport Creamery (Garden City) to get a 1/2 Gallon of Ice Cream. Quickly picked one out and stood at the register with payment in hand waiting to get my ice cream and go. A family walks in after me to be seated to dine and is helped before me. It took 3 employees to figure out where to seat them on the seating chart and I was looked at by 3 employees including the manager and not one person acknowledged my presence as a customer. Someone should have said "well be right with you..." At least that would have helped the situation a little. Finally, an employee by the name of Brandon saw my irritated face, dropped what he was doing and came to assist me. Horrible customer service.

Very hit or miss here which leads me to say mediocre at best, you just dont know if youre going to get an on par waitress/waiter whos going to be kind and attentive or some teenager whos just there to get enough money for another bag of weed which add in how busy this place can get can result is some pretty high wait times. Food is fairly good with some fun options like the super crunchy grilled cheese which has mozzarella sticks in the middle of a grilled cheese sandwich. If heading here just be aware might get a server whos not all too friendly/attentive and may be waiting for a good while.

While food was great, especially the shakes. And our waitress was so polite and kind. The entire dinning experience was made awakward and un-enjoyable due to the owner or manager (not sure which) yelling and belittling his entire staff, loud enough for everyone to hear. I give so much credit to the staff because they remained going about their day with a smile on their faces. Really, the only thing that would make me NOT go back is how the manager/owner treated his staff and effected the whole atmosphere and dinning experience.

Went for ice cream with my daughters and couldnt seat outside because of the rain, ask the cashier if we can sit down inside and she said yes, the place was almost empty, we sat and some guy just told us "next time if you sit here you have to be serve" with a fake smile. Not coming back for sure!

Avoid this joint. Went here to get ice cream with my daughter and doubt out that if you buy ice cream you have to sit outside where you can smell pot smoking drug dealers in the adjoining parking lot. Never again. Do yourself a favor and go to pink berry next door
